Summer is still not here - Shah Rukh Khan No summer vacation for Shah Rukh Khan this year. He is up to his eyebrows with work and Gauri and kids will have to wait. His schedule is choc-a-bloc with his TV show Paanchvi Pass, films like Billoo Barber, IPL, etc. Normally SRK makes it a point to take a month-and-a-half off during his kids' summer break and head to London where he spends quality time with Aryan and Suhana. When SRK is on holiday, there's no extraneous factor that can disturb him. He says, "At that time it's just my family and me. I don't take anyone's calls… I am not in touch with anyone at that time. It's only about my kids and me. But right now there is too much going on for me to take my break." A source close to the superstar says that SRK won't be taking his annual 40-day break "There is so much going on. We have finished the bulk of Billoo Barber and now he is working on Paanchvi Pass. Then in a fortnight, Adi's film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will begin. Also three days of shooting for Billoo Barber are left for which he will be going down South. After that he comes back to Paanchvi Pass. That wraps up by the end of May." "Most of the filming for Rab ne Bana Di Jodi will happen in Mumbai and a few in the North, with IPL going on side-by-side. And therefore he is taking the kids with him for the different matches." What better way to spend quality time with kids! Khan is known to be very close to his kids and allows them on his sets too, and it won't be any different during the summer break. Last year Khan spent a month in London where he took his kids to see his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. A friend who accompanied them last year says, "The two kids were so proud to see their daddy there. I think he actually enjoyed his statue once he saw that look in their eyes." When Khan was invited to Warwick Castle to open its latest attraction, he lugged his family there too. So, from landing on the castle grounds in a helicopter to a sword slashing red carpet ribbon-cutting ceremony, flanked by fully armoured medieval bodyguard, the kids were in for a real treat. But that was just the start of the fun for SRK. After the inauguration Khan went for a private visit of the Castle with his family.

Hrithik Roshan
'Compliments just keep coming my way' - Hrithik Roshan He’s become dad all over again only recently, and the congratulatory messages coming his way are many. But never mind fatherhood, the actor, funnily, is still getting congratulatory wishes for his performance in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodhaa Akbar. And Duggu doesn’t mind it one bit. In fact, he just hits the ceiling with joy if you comment on how brilliant he and the film were. “The compliments coming my way for Jodhaa...haven’t stopped,” he tells us, wide-eyed. “I gave the film my every thing. There were several doubts and anxieties that crossed my mind while shooting for it. While performing some scenes, I wondered if the audiences would throw eggs at me. You see, one is never too sure how a film is going to be perceived, and when you have compliments in the superlative coming your way, you breathe a sigh of relief. But that’s the law of nature. You give something your best shot, go on no matter how hard it gets, and chances that you’ll fail are minimal,” philosophies Hrithik. Well, looks like Papa Roshan has the right attitude and some great lessons to teach his new-born beta!

Ronaldo loses endorsement deal over transvestite scandal Brazilian soccer star Ronaldo has lost an advertising contract worth $4.8 million a year with mobile phone company TIM because of the scandal involving him with three cross-dressing prostitutes, EFE news agency reported Sunday. The contract contained a clause allowing its unilateral cancellation by the telecom company if for some reasons the athlete might project a negative corporate image, Brazilian daily O Globo reported Saturday. Ronaldo had already received $1.8 million from this contract in 2008 and still had another $3 million to collect before the end of the year, according to the report. The AC Milan striker could also run the risk of losing the lifetime contract that he has with US sports apparel firm Nike, worth some $100 million, some media reports suspected. Ronaldo, who represented Brazil in two World Cups, Wednesday denied in a statement the possibility of losing those contracts, saying he would have to be found guilty in court in any offense for that to be happened. Ronaldo has not been accused of any crime - as prostitution is legal in Brazil - but he landed in a police station early Monday following a fight with a transvestite who accused him of not wanting to pay for a night of sex. According to a cross-dresser's story, Ronaldo, who told police he was unaware the prostitutes he picked up were men, contracted his services and those of two others working the street in the upscale neighborhood of Barra de Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro and they subsequently had sex in the motel. The transvestite also said that Ronaldo had sent him to buy cocaine in a nearby shantytown, something that the athlete has categorically denied. Following the scandal, Ronaldo's girlfriend broke up with him and he has shut himself away in his mother's mansion to escape the paparazzi. Ronaldo is in Brazil to recover from a bad knee injury that will keep him off the field until early 2009. Ronaldo plans to return to Paris next week to see the doctor that operated on him last February.
