1. There should be a section for image requests. We lost a lot of pictures due to those Image Hosts going belly up. Perhaps there can be a section like Model ID 2. Glamour Model Section. It should be locked for the moderators sanity to member with certain amount of posts ie respected members. 3. Section for Magazines, Ads, Etc in the Art section. This way people can post ads and editorials who appreciate them without liking models. Also requests can be here too. Threads like this could be in 3's forum. I think a lot of people here scan and it would make our lives easier to post the images and worry about IDs later.
@Minerva13 @sanja @kimflorida @Dayrell I am going blank with people who post the same places I do. Feel free to post others in here. Currently working on this so we have a database of models active in certain years and locations. I am also updating models wikipedia pages. Please link pages or request for pages to be made here. If you want to start one for a vintage model let me know.
I am working on something to help the 80s 90s and 00s model posters. Can you post people's handles in here so I can ask opinions on how we work/find/post things in models threads. I know some of us scan, some focus on runway, and some focus on catalog. Please ping anyone in here whether they are active of not. Please let me know the things you are currently researching or interested in posting.
The best place for you to inquire an image about a model is her thread, not the General Babes section. You are asking for a publication scan or image find. General Babe Section is for: Discuss celebrities and models more generally. Find out the name of that model or celeb, talk about those things about women you find fascinating. A place to chat, and review aspects of women in fashion and beyond. If you do not understand this, you can look to see topics such as Australian Models, French Models, Nivea Models, etc. You could post in https://www.bellazon.com/main/forum/28-art-amp-literature/ but the likelihood of someone finding it is nil. Again the people who have the skill set to find those pictures are the people who view the models thread, not other sections of the forum. So reply to the editorial and ask for the images or search for them. You could try to find them yourself by searching for the publication, photographer, stylist etc. The thread is request for deletion because it doesn't belong in General Babes. For the record, I report misplaced threads, misplaced posts, reposted threads, etc this place all the time. The moderation staff can not look at every post and be on 24/7. As a more senior member of this forum, I will bring everything I find so that the moderators can do their job. Please do not respond to this and understand that this isn't a personal attack nor a reflection of the models status.
This should be a post in the models thread not a new subject in general babes. Perhaps we should have an Image request section for all the lost pictures due those image hosts going down?? Maybe right below Model ID. People could create topics for magazines and brands. Just a suggestion.
