Segundo Cernadas Pedro Cernadas (born March 20, 1972 in Viedma, Río Negro), better known as Segundo Cernadas, is a telenovela actor who has gained international fame, both in South America and other parts of the world. Cernadas is considered a teen idol in Argentina; many teenaged girls there follow his career. Cernadas began to show interest in becoming an actor when he was a teenager himself. Cernadas was convinced by a show business insider that he should change his name, so he chose Segundo to be his artistic first name. He chose the name to honor his favorite fictitious person, the main character in Don Segundo Sombra. Pablo Ponce, a well known Argentine acting instructor, was Cernadas' first professional acting teacher. Soon after, Cernadas was accepted by one of Argentina's top show business academies. Although Cernadas' main acting interests were in the theatrical area, soon after being accepted by the academy, he made his television debut, acting in "Montana Rusa, Otra Vuelta" ("Rollercoaster, (let's go) One More Time"). He followed that by participating, as a married medical doctor in "90-60-90 modelos". In 1997, Cernadas made his third appearance at a telenovela, in "Ricos y Famosos" ("Rich and Famous"), which became a major international hit. 1998 was an important year in Cernadas' life: after participating in "Milady: La Historia Continua" ("Milady: The Story Continues)", which was the sequel to Argentine soap opera classic "Milady", he was seriously considering moving to Mexico to work there, but he was convinced to stay in his home country by producer Raúl Lecouna, who offered Cernadas his first starring role as a telenovela actor, in another soap that would become a major hit: "Muñeca brava" ("Wild angel"). This soap opera had such a wild success, that Cernadas travelled across Argentina, and to many other countries, to relive his character at various acting venues, for the next two years. In 2000, he played the role of "Bebo" in "Los Buscas de Siempre" ("The (same) Bullies of Always)". Later on that year, he would once again play a doctor, in "Los Medicos de Hoy" ("Today's Doctors"). Cernadas visited Mexico once again, Miami and Caracas, in an effort to find a job. He was hired by Venezuela-based Iguana Productions to star in "Todo Sobre Camila" ("All About Camila"). He travelled to Ecuador during the filming of this telenovela, as the show was co-produced by Iguana Productions, and an Ecuatorian company. But, despite all the work that he had done, Cernadas would not become a major international super-star until 2002, when he flew to Peru to act in "Bésame Tonto" ("Kiss me, Fool"), alongside Gianella Neyra. The soap opera, which featured romantic, family and even mafia twists, became the number one show in many countries, such as the Dominican Republic, Chile, Panama and many other countries. This soap opera marked the beginning of a period in which Cernadas began to be recognized as a teen idol by girls and young women outside Argentina as well. In 2003, he participated in "Dr. Amor" ("Dr. Love") . By 2004, Univision began to show "Bésame Tonto" in the United States; and Cernadas became the first Argentine actor to star in a Philippine soap opera, when he went to Manila to participate and team-up with Iza Calzado in "Te Amo, Maging Sino Ka Man" ("I Love You, Whoever You Are"). In 2005 he returned to Argentina and worked at Amor en custodia (2005) and Se dice amor (2006). Litzy Domínguez Litzy Vanya Domínguez Balderas (better known as Litzy) is a Mexican-born actress and singer. She is known for having been in the Mexican singing group Jeans, and for her ("always" protagonist) roles in Telenovelas: Televisa's DKDA Sueños de Juventude, Telemundo's Daniela and Amarte Asi, Venevisión-with-Univisión's Pecadora and Azteca [Mexico] TV's Quiéreme Tonto, retitled simply Quiéreme. Probably her most successful recent song is "La Rosa." She sang the entrada song (opening theme song) for both Daniela ("Sobreviveré") and Amarte Asi ("Amarte Asi"). She also has recorded a theme song entitled "Pecadora" for Pecadora. However, as recently aired, the telenovela is not using that song for its entrada. Amarte Asi has also been aired with a different title, Frijolito. It is also notable that Litzy won a sort of acting-contest reality show run by Telemundo entitled Protagonistas de la Fama. Apparently her winning of that contest landed her the starring role in Amarte Así. She also was the star of Daniela, and recently starred in Pecadora and Quiéreme Tonto (2010). Litzy's latest telenovela being aired in the USA as of July, 2010, is Pecadora (a remake of Como en el Cine) having been aired by TCTelevisión Ecuador, JustinTV.com, and Univision. Documentation for Litzy and Pecadora can be found at the Amarte-Asi forum of Telenovela-World.com.[1] After making Amarte Así, Litzy studied acting in Los Angeles for the better part of a year, evidently with the desire to do acting in Hollywood, a desire not fulfilled. After acting school, she has been credited with roles in three obscure Mexican movie titles before obtaining her role in Pecadora: "Vestidos y Otras Anécdotas," a short movie entitled "Subversiòn Total" (2007), and "Borderline (2009/II)."[2] Hide Show Actress (8 titles) 2010 Quiéreme Tonto (TV series) Julieta Dorelli (2010) 2010 Pecadora (TV series) Luz María – Episode #1.6 (2010) … Luz María 2009/II Borderline Ceci 2007 Subversión total (short) 2005 Amarte así (TV series) Margarita 2002 Daniela (TV series) Daniela Gamboa 2000 Carita de ángel (TV series) Cantante en la Iglesia – Episode #1.2 (2000) … Cantante en la Iglesia – Carita de ángel (2000) … Cantante en la Iglesia 1999-2000 DKDA: Sueños de juventud (TV series) Laura Martínez – Episode #1.62 (2000) … Laura Martínez – Episode #1.80 (2000) … Laura Martínez – DKDA: Sueños de juventud (1999) … Laura Martínez

Threads Merged. Please use the search function before starting threads . ~ Post Edited by Joe > Average Mariana Seoane Mariana Seoane García (born June 10, 1976) is a Mexican actress, model and singer. She is a native of the city of Parácuaro, in the state of Michoacán Born to an Argentine mother and a Cuban-Mexican father ("Soy una fusión de todo. Soy una mexicana que nació allá, pero mi mamá es de Argentina y mi papá es mexicano de padre cubano."), Seoane demonstrated an interest in becoming an entertainer since a very early age. She began acting and singing professionally as a teenager. It is the former career, however, that has brought her much fame in Mexico and Latin America. In 1995, Seoane made her acting debut on a Televisa telenovela, when she appeared on Retrato de Familia ("Family Photo"), alongside Alfredo Adame, Helena Rojo and Julio Bracho. Seoane played "Aracely" in Retrato de Familia. During 1996, Seoane played "Sandra" in Los Hijos de Nadie ("Nobody's Children"), where she acted with Puerto Rican Osvaldo Rios and Sergio Sendei. Seoane then acted in Cancion de Amor ("Love Song"), a soap opera geared towards teenagers and young adults. In it, she shared credits with young actors like Eduardo Capetillo, Jorge Salinas and Mauricio Islas, as well as with veterans such as Joaquin Cordero, Guillermo Garcia Cantù, Lorena Rojas and Jaime Garza. Seoane played "Roxana" in Cancion de Amor. Seoane continued on with her acting career in 1997, when she filmed Mi Pequeña Traviesa ("My Little Daredevil"), with Anahi, Rafael Inclan, Enrique Rocha and future spouses Hector Soberon and Michelle Vieth. Having given life to the character of "Bárbara" in that soap opera, Seoane then proceeded to take a two year lay-off from telenovelas after that. But she returned in 1999, when she had her first opportunity of starring in a telenovela, acting as "Adriana" in "Amor Gitano" ("Gypsy Love"), where Islas was her co-star. Seoane also acted in "Tres Mujeres" ("Three Women") that year, sharing the scene with Laura Flores as well as such up and coming actors as Dominika Paleta, Eduardo Verastegui and future husband and wife Bobby Larios and Niurka Marcos, among others. Seoane played "Marcela Duran" in "Tres Mujeres". After a two year hiatus from television, Seoane returned in 2001, making her comedy debut in "Diseñador, Ambos Sexos" ("Designer of both Sexes") a comedy about a fashion designer who pretended to be homosexual in order to get close to women. Seoane played "Ernestina Soto" in "Atrévete a Olvidarme" ("Dare to Forget Me"), a telenovela which was also run during 2001, with Jorge Salinas and Adriana Fonseca as stars. Seoane has made a total of four soap operas where Salinas also acted. In 2003, Seoane was offered her second starring role on a telenovela, when she participated as "Rebeca Linares" in Venevision's production, "Rebeca". Seoane then recorded her first CD, which was released during 2004. Sere Una Niña Buena ("I'll be a Good Girl"), her first discographic production, became a mild success in Seoane's show business career. It peaked at number 42 in the Top Latin Album in Billboard and her first single peaked at number 18 in the Hot Latin Tracks. "Que no me faltes tu" was her second single, which was successful, it peaked number 6 in the Hot Latin Tracks. Her second album was released in 2005, La nina buena (The Good Girl), it peaked number 38 in the Top Latin Albums in Billboard and the first single, "Una de dos", reached number 22 in the Hot Latin Track; her second single was "No vuelvo mas", which peaked 42 in the Hot Latin Tracks. In 2006 she released Con Sabor a...Mariana; the first single of this album was "Mermelada". This album was less successful than the two previous albums. Her latest album was recorded in 2007, titled Mariana esta de fiesta...atrevete, and the single was "Atrevete". During 2005, a well known Hispanic gossip magazine in the United States sponsored a contest where winners would get a photo and a copy of the Sere una Niña Buena CD personally autographed by Seoane.[citation needed] Noting that three of the twenty contestants that won the prizes were from Puerto Rico, Seoane made sure to mention that country on her New Year's Eve Univision celebration show's speech. As of 2006[update], Seoane was invited to appear on the famous telenovela, La fea más bella. She appears as Karla, who falls quickly in love with Fernando Mendiola, played by Jaime Camil. At the end of 2007 Seoane personifies an evil villain in Juan Osorio's telenovela Tormenta en el Paraiso. In November 2009 she stars in Nathalie Lartilleux's telenovela Mar de Amor.
