Pirates and Marlins up next. Mets fans had beter brace themseleves for the 2-week storm. As for the Sunday night game, I was praying for the Mets to bean Arod in his forth at-bat -- of course, it didn't happen. <_<

I have a feeling that the Mets are going to go through a bad 2-week stretch. That Red Sox series is going to linger for a while.

I don't. He was great in his prime but now he is just a shell of what he once was. He's still one of my favorite Mets though. I made mistake with that All-Star list. My vote went to Utley at 2B and not Giles.

Not quite '86. Granted, this was a big series but not that big. It was more of a measuring stick for the Mets.

Red Sox to Mets = Me = Those three games were about the worst set of games that they have played this season. They looked overmatched and played terribly. Now we head into the Subway Series on a downer.
