Ava Allan is a young actress born(Feb. 1999) in Tarzana, California. She began pursuing her acting career at the age of 6 when she shot her first national TV commercial for "The American Association of Orthodontics", where she needed a big beautiful "toothy" smile. She lost her wiggly front tooth the very next day! Ava has appeared in numerous Film and Television shows including a recurring role in Nickelodeon's "True Jackson VP", playing the role of Young/kid Amanda for lead actress Danielle Bisutti. she also worked with Will Smith's daughter, Willow Smith, as well as Keke Palmer and Vivica Fox. Ava had the amazing opportunity to work with Oscar winning actor Forrest Whitaker. Ava landed the lead role in the Short film "The Driveway"; which just won an award of merit. In Addition to appearing in over 35 commercials, Ava is signed with one of the top Modeling Agencies in Los Angeles, and had done work for dozens of magazines, websites and In-store print ads.
She landed the part in the live Sea World Show "One Ocean", where she got a once in a lifetime experience working up close and giving hand commands to Shamu. Ava was nominated for "Best actress in a recurring role" at the 2011 Young Artist Awards, as well as a 2011 CARE Nominee. Ava also received two nominations for the 2012 Young Artist Awards, including "best actress" in a recurring role for TV, and "best actress" in a lead role for a short Film. She lives outside of Los Angeles with her mom, dad, older sister who is a Singer/songwriter Alexi Blue.
She has an adorable Shiba Inu named Mr. Jace. She loves to swim, hip-hop dance, rock climb, roller-skate and ride around her neighborhood on her mint-green Vespa. She attends and contributes her time to many different charities, including her involvement with local animal shelters. Ava is a straight "A" student and is a member of G.A.T.E (the gifted and talented program).
