First, I want to say that in my point of view and having readind the book, I think Leo will be the perfect Gatsby, and what you said ox about his smile is the main point to play Gatsby: smile that can light any room, I totally thought on Leo's contagious smile when I read this on the book.

Too much jelousy, I guess.

Definitevely, this girl don't know nothing about Leo and honestly I don't see why people always want to make this comparisons. Each actor is an actor and everyone is unique, I agree that River was a good actor and I think we are entitlited to have our own opnions and say "oh, I think this actor is better than that another actor", but no need to compare anyone. Well, I don't compare Leo to any other actor, I think he's the best but I don't compare him with anyone.

And it's okay if Leo is not their first choice as nominee/ likely winner but I hate they use this to underestimate his work saying that he is not good enough because of that when we all know that Oscar isn't about the best performance but rather the best campaign. But as you say There is still time to get into the madness of the awards season Agree with you again.

But I also feel like Pami sometimes, it makes me angry that Leo never seem to be their first option. But anyway, I think it's still early to say or predict something mostly because his performance in Django was not seen yet, so it's wait and see what happens.
