This is one cool story. It might be a great book. Like any wife and mother, Kayla Olson loves spending time with family, but the happiest place on earth is the middle of the ocean. “That is true,” she said. Kayla, of Denton, fell hard for the Disney cruise line. In fact, she and her husband, Andrew, just returned from their fourth Disney cruise. But it was the first time she set sail when her world magically changed. “It never crossed my mind that that cruise ship could change my life,” she said. Kayla was an aspiring author, without a single book to her name, when that Disney cruise stopped at an island called Castaway Cay. For Kayla, it was love at first sight. But once she returned home, all she could think about was that beach. Unfortunately, she couldn’t afford another trip. So Kayla created her own beach by writing a book, “The Sandcastle Empire.” Only her beach was much more dangerous and far more dramatic. Once Kayla finished writing, for the first time, a publishing company agreed to print her book. But before it ever hit the shelves, she got an unexpected phone call. On the other end was Kayla’s agent with news that Paramount Pictures wanted to make her book a movie. “And it was Leonardo Dicaprio’s production company,” she said. Keep in mind, this is the first book Kayla has ever had published and soon, one of the best actors in the world, will make it come to life. Jade: In that article I posted a few pages back it was said that Charles Manson character won't be too much in this movie, it's said to be something like Hitler on Inglorious Basterds, the movie won't be focused on him, so I don't think that's the role Tarantino have for Leo. But of course we still don't have sure of anything, just my opinion regarding that article.

News about Tarantino new project, he finished the script and it's now showing to different studios since he's not working for Weinstein anymore. Leo still is being eyed for a role in this movie, it seems Tarantino wrote a role for Leo, but we still don't know if he will do it. It seems it's not just exactly about Manson, which is good, I think. As previously reported, Tarantino is allowing studios to read his latest screenplay,after which he’ll settle on which studio to distribute the new film. The movie is being referred to as #9 because it’s Tarantino’s ninth film, and it’s being read this week by every major studio except Disney (for obvious reasons). And no, Tarantino is not considering streaming giants like Netflix or Amazon—the cinephile wants a traditional theatrical studio for this next film. So what’s the movie about? Deadline says it’s a drama set in late 1960s or early 1970s Los Angeles, and while it does involve the Manson murders, sources tell Deadline that calling this a Charles Manson movie is akin to calling Inglourious Basterds an Adolf Hitler movie. The script is said to have strong commercial appeal and, per Deadline, if there’s one film in Tarantino’s filmography it can be best compared to it’s Pulp Fiction. As previously reportedly Margot Robbie has been offered the role of Sharon Tate, who was killed by Manson’s cult members, and Tarantino has also apparently written roles for Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Samuel L. Jackson. However, no casting commitments have been made just yet, and it’s unclear if any of the aforementioned casting will work out—although you know Jackson will find time in his schedule for this. This is an important note, maybe Leo can do it if he's not filming the Scorsese project for too many months...
