It's odd that Justin doesn't want to give her the divorce. It's been two years since they separated. It's all very well to state that the separation was amicable, but people who do separate amicably file for divorce without further ado. That Justin is still "very fond" of her, and that she doesn't want to "put pressure" on him or file for divorce herself or that he "probably" still isn't able to "let go of her" strongly suggests that it's Natalia who doesn't want to be with Justin anymore. I think Justin is still in love with her, and divorce to him signifies a irreversible and permanent severance. Maybe he's just biding for time, hoping she'd go back to him. Maybe he hadn't expected her to move on. She obviously doesn't want to file first, thereby miring herself in an acrimonious divorce which may take a long time to resolve. Also, forgive me, but I can't help but point out that Natalia's lifestyle isn't terribly different from those who've been born into money. She may have been born poor, but her present lifestyle is comparable to that led by the poshest coteries of London. Justin notwithstanding, I find it very odd that on one hand she goes on to attribute the difference in upbringing and background as the main reason why they grew apart, and then on the other hand goes on to date a bloke with an almost identical pedigree. The only difference between Justin and Antoine is that Antoine holds some sort of portfolio at LVMH, but it isn't like he earned his stripes, is it? Nepotism is one of the main reasons he's head of communications or marketing (or whatever portfolio he holds) at LVMH. If Justin was raised entitled and privileged in an aristocratic ivory tower, Antoine's upbringing too isn't greatly different. His father is one of the five wealthiest men in the world, and if anything more cynical and ruthless and rightwing than any English aristocrat. It's not wrong to have a type; everyone from Leonardo Dicaprio to Doutzen Kroes to George Clooney have one, but what IS disingenuous is to pretend to lack the self-awareness about this. Her type is quite clearly filthy rich scions whose only claim to fame is their family background. There is nothing wrong about that per se, though she does come across as a bit of a golddigger, but I'd appreciate if she were more upfront about it. Or at least sensible enough not to talk about the mainspring of her separation with Justin lest it show her in very hypocritical light. It's been mentioned many a time that she's an incredibly ambitious woman and that money very certainly matters a lot to her. Once again, it's perfectly fine to be like that, but just don't pretend you're anything otherwise. It's I guess reassuring to know the most important person in her life in Antoine, but at the end of the day, I just feel sorry for Justin and the kids. I can't help but feel they're paying the price for Natalia's, for the want of better word, need for excitement, change and self-fulfilment. I'm not advocating people stay in moribund marriages, but I'm afraid I also don't advocate dissolving marriages on seemingly frivolous grounds such as sheer ennui or the lack of adventure one feels when one's a decade into one's marriage. However comfortable the kids may be with the idea of their mum with Antoine, I'm sure they - and especially Lucas - still wish their parents were together. I know people grow apart, but it's just incredibly sad when young children are involved.

Wonder if someone who's fluent in Russian can provide a better translation?
  4. cachet replied to Evelyn's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Full translation of that article. Well, it's cool that she's quit smoking. Nasty, nasty habit! Antoine seems to be a good influence on her then, eh? I'm warming to the idea of her and Antoine, slowly. He seems to be a dedicated bloke, and not just some rich playboy. Then again, I suppose Natalia is clever enough to steer clear from those types, especially seeing she has three young kids.

Or maybe Arnault is just a very private person, in which case the likelihood of articles about them or their romance not be as well publicised as her marriage with Justin was does look quite high. Yet, I think it's just plain common sense that if one doesn't want to be photographed, one needs to retreat to more secluded places than end up on beaches in popular holiday destinations. Perhaps she could learn a thing or two from her hollywood friends like Anne Hathaway. Anyway, I came across these pictures, and don't remember seeing them before. Apologies if these are reposts.

I find this a bit rich. I don't see what's there to be "upset", especially about her kids seeing the pictures, because, well, wasn't she snogging Arnault in front of her kids in the first set of pictures? Look, I completely understand that her kids are very young and would in all likelihood be upset to see they mum kissing another man, but the onus to ensure that they are not affected by the separation lies with her and her husband, not on her fans. She needs to exercise some parental control over the internet content her kids are exposed to. If by giving them unrestrained, unlimited access, they happen to see something which they upsets them, well, that's her "mistake", not anybody else's. She's a public figure by choice - a model and now even an actress - who's dating a public figure, and it goes without saying that she will be hounded by the paps; comes with the territory. She really can't whinge about pictures being posted on fan sites. She had no qualms in parlaying her personal life and her fairytale story into editorials and spreads galore; so it's not like she's really drawn a clear line between her personal and professional life, is it? Also, I'd be curious to know what the "mistake" is. Well, it was definitely the mistake of sites like Vogue UK to have taken for granted that it's her official page without verifying it, but it really isn't the "mistake" of the ADMINS of that page in question itself. Those pictures were also posted on sites like ANV, tFS etc; and there's bugger-all she can do about it. ALL 'slebs put up with it. If she gets photographed in a public place, and if those photographs do the rounds on the internet, then it's obvious those pictures will be posted on many sites. If she doesn't want to see such pictures, she needs to choose her holiday destinations more carefully, and exercise a bit of discretion. If she doesn't want her kids to see the pictures, she needs to set up internet filters or restrict their access to only a limited number of age-appropriate websites.

What makes me iffy is this: Till recently, she was, by the looks of it, going out with Pesko. Now Arnault is in the picture. She's also been linked to many other men in the past 18 months. She's just come out of a long term relationship, and if she wants to have a bit of fun, fine. Perfectly understandable. She's young, achingly beautiful and seems to be a lovely, large-hearted person, and ought to have all the fun she wants. But here's the rub. I consider myself to be a liberal, and don't believing in judging people, but I can't help but wonder, is tagging her kids along with her when she sees these men prudent? Especially, when she's been seeing Arnault for only a few weeks - a few months tops. Maybe I'm an old-fashioned fuddy-duddy, but I think she ought to have brought the kids into the picture only if she is absolutely serious about him, and moreover, if he is dead serious about her. If they're only just "hooking up", then I don't think it's wise to bring her children into the picture. He comes across as a bit of a casanova to me - which may or may not be true, but that's the perception I get, and I find it implausible that he'd settle down with her and be a father-figure to her kids. Seeing how young two of her kids are, a wrong sort of figure in their life can be deleterious. Natalia knows this first-hand, for one of her own mother's partners is described to be "abusive". It takes a certain maturity for kids to accept another partner in their parent's life, and however mature and well-adjusted Lucas may be, he's bound to think of the men in her life as a poor replacement for his father. Maybe he may not feel that way too long, but it'd be staggering if he didn't harbour even a soupcon of resentment. I hope she knows what she's doing, because, at the end of the day, it's the kids who're the most vulnerable and prone to be affected the most. Another point which has been raised is the impact he could have on her career. I won't be too worried about that, because she's an established and highly successful model. A model's career isn't so much determined by the CEO's of fashion houses than by the designers, photographers, editors, stylists and agents. I don't think Arnault has any say in the creative department, but only manages the commerce.

First of all, is this her? If it is, does anyone know where I can find this picture in higher resolution? And from which shoot it is from?

Anyone knows where I can find a larger version of this picture? I screencapped this from natalia-v.net, know it's from a Vogue cover, but for the life of me can't find a version without the text.

Yes maybe I'm unfair and too hard about Justin, I'm actually angry at him (just because, just like you, he and Natalia made me dream). He abandoned wife and children. Their interactions ? What interactions ? Virtual interactions all the best, when there's absolutely no necessity for keeping distance (such as far away work, buisness and so on). He's partying all year long with friends in his private night-club playboy house in Uruguay, he seems to find this kind of life much more interesting than supporting his wife and bringing up their children. I wonder what english aristocracy upbringing is worth when I look at him now. I'm sorry if I'm unfair to him (you're right, I don't know the start of this situation), but I'm angry at him, he misses his love and marriage engagement and fatherhood duty to my eyes. Christ, you're raving. it's amazing how you've decided to scapegoat Justin entirely when you - like the rest of us - don't know the first thing about their life except extrapolating what Natalia says in interviews. Natalia is no saint either, and the fault could lie with her as well. It's one thing to speculate, but it's utterly stupid to judge them and cast aspersions on them.

I think her and Justin have definitely separated, but are avoiding the legal hassle of procuring a divorce. A lot of money - both his and hers - is involved, and it looks as though they've found an amicable way to separate without really getting divorced. As for the outfit... She seems to be a woman comfortable in her own skin, playful and whimsical with her fashion sense and this certainly isn't the first time she's wearing something see-through. I've said this before, but VERY few models actually pull off nudity in reality (only Moss comes to mind). Natalia really doesn't NEED to resort to this, because she is sublimely gorgeous AS SHE IS. The boob show seems entirely gratuitous and thus she comes off as someone screaming for attention, when she really doesn't have the face or the attitude to pull it off. Thus it's not the inappropriateness which puts me off than that it seems rather UNDERWHELMING! It doesn't add anything to her. I'm no prude, but I can't deny we live in a world which has been hypersexualised, and am not entirely sure whether kids should be exposed to nudity so soon.

Of course i's possible to reduce your lips. Just ask Angelina Jolie, lol. IDK whether facial features can really change so much after they're well into their twenties insofar as their lips look smaller, but if you look at the pictures posted in the previous page where her face and lips were fuller. I also don't tend to think very wavy hair - which at times make her look like she's just walked out of a shower a la here doesn't so much make her hair look more voluminous than suggest she hasn't brushed her hair. I like her with hair which looks relatively straight, but that's just me.
  17. cachet replied to Evelyn's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
I like the darker hair on her. Lightish hair washes her out; dark hair contrasts her skin and pale eyes. One thing I do wonder about, however, is whether she's reduced her lips. HEr lips used to be a lot puffier when she was younger, whilst in the recent pictures they look less full. I hope she hasn't, especially when everyone does things to plump their lips.

Sorry if these are reposts, but I don't think they've been posted in this quality.

So I know these are reposts, but they're in uber HQ (well, some of them), and I thought it'd be wonderful to see the whole set (or whatever part of the set has been published).

I don't know whether these have been posted before, but anyway, Could anyone get rid of the watermark on the two images. They are so ridiculously beautiful but marred by the stupid watermark.

Those pics don't show up. Anyway, I screencapped them. The quality isn't the greatest.

So it appears one can indeed forget one's first language. I guess that can happen, I wouldn't know, lol. I don't see myself in a non English speaking country in the forseeable future. Anyway, I was just wondering... since to become a member at TFS, we need to be invited, whether anyone here who's a member at both places can invite some of us? Because, you know, the environment there seems SO MUCH better and more decorous and models can't be dissed in threads and so on... And there's also a lot of stuff posted ther which isn't posted here. It'll also channel more traffic to Natalia's thread there, which can't be a bad thing, right? Just was thinking...
  24. cachet replied to Evelyn's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Can that really happen? I mean, wasn't she born and raised in Russia for 18 years knowing only rudimentary English when she started. And to think she speaks English better than Russian now, it's weird, I agree. Because she certainly sounds very Russian when she speaks English. I mean, I'm a native English speaker, and even if I'm going to learn a new language like Spanish or German and speak it rampantly for the next 10 years, I won't forget or struggle with English. Is it the same with other Russian models - Sasha, Vlada, Natasha et al? I don't think so... Oh, and she really needs to stop mussing up her hair! I think she looks the best when she wears her hair straight, it lends a certain something to her face, making it look truly beautiful than just, idk, young.

^ Dirt poor means very poor, which is in fact the truth. Besides, not much of what you say makes sense, seeing as you're always carping about something or other, Anyhoo, I'm glad he's actually doing something rather than, well, do nothing. I don't care how rich people are, but those that don't work annoy me.
