I agree to some extent. However, in my opinion some of the "prettiest contestants" have won. eg. Amelia Vega, Jennifer Hawkins, Natalie Glebova, Dayana Mendoza and Stefanía Fernández Although we all have different tastes

I'm glad Stefanía Fernández won. She was my favourite I also liked Rachael Finch (Australia), Gona Dragusha (Kosovo) and Bianca Manalo (Philippines)
