  1. It's really hard not to like Chico. He has this innate charm that draws you into him. I showed his casting video (the one where he tugs on his hair) to my friends and they fell in love with him during the first four seconds (because he smiled so adorably). No wonder he has so many fans out there. It seems like he gets a new fan each day.
  2. Model of the Month | Easy Frankie Bringing this month’s special feature to a close is none other than Brazilian model Francisco Lachowski. From the winner of Supermodel Brazil and work for Dior Homme to a plethora of all-encompassing bookings, it is no surprise that Francisco made our selection of bright up and comers. In an effort to learn more about the Ford model, we went to stylist Ivan Bontchev, who has had the pleasure of working with Francisco on L’Ultimo Samurai, The Defensive End and for Hero. – Ivan Bontchev first met Francisco at a last minute casting for Urban magazine. After only two minutes with him, it was clear that he had booked the job. As Bontchev expressed, “He was without a doubt the coolest boy we had seen that day, not [only] because of how he looks, but the way he acted: really chill and laid-back. And it could have been a pain in the ass, since I wanted to tape a skate on his back! I did tape it (actually his own skate, although we had some selection of skates on set) and as painful as it was for Francisco, (he got a wax job on the way, since the tape was passing under his armpits) he just laughed about it. The editorial came up rather nice, but it was honestly Francisco’s attitude that made it cool. We booked him once more for the Hero magazine editorial. That day we actually shot three stories with Massimo Pamparana and we were kind of worried that [we'd] end up shooting until early morning…since I convinced Mr. Pamparana the night before to do the Defensive End editorial for Models.com with both Francisco and Oscar Spendrup in-between the two other jobs. Francisco didn’t actually expect to shoot two editorials and when he came on set and saw all the rubber tube stuff was like: “man you are crazy.” We ended up shooting until 3 a.m. on two locations and while shooting we actually understood [that] Francisco had a fever and was not feeling well at all. But he didn’t say a word, just kept on working. At this point I was fucking amazed by this guy. Francisco is just cool and easy to work with. But even more [so], he has great personality. Having in mind what the future holds for [one in] our industry, it will be exactly this factor that will help him go ahead.” The Fashionisto
  3. I don't think those are his roommates. He's roommates with fellow Brazilians Marlon and Max, Max's girlfriend Naty and Barbara. They're all models.
  4. Lol! Just like Victoria's Secret! I think Francisco would be a beautiful angel! And Arthur would be one hot devil, pun intended! Wouldn't it be cool if there was a male version of the Victoria's Secret fashion show? But then again, it would appeal more to gay men than to straight women.
  5. Here's the complete editorial from Enough Magazine by Domenico Cennamo. Dear moderators, these are HQ versions so I'm putting these up just in case anyone wants them. Also these have not been cropped as were earlier posts of this shoot. You can delete the earlier ones I posted if need be. Thanks! The Fashionisto
  6. Somehow, all this cheered me up. I hope they put out more photos. I'm going to need it for the next few days.
  7. I'm having a very Brazilian morning. LOL. First it was Adriana Lima's comeback. Now this. This makes up for all the crying I did last night.
  8. I would've loved it even more if Chico was the angel. But he's a sexy devil anyway.

I think this is the big news that Made In Brazil was talking about. Dayuuuuum!
  10. I don't know the name of the blogger behind MIB. LOL.
  11. I hope we could ask Chico questions and he'll answer them on video. BTW I followed you back.
  12. LOL. I was just speculating. I was just asking if he will be guest editor. They haven't confirmed yet.
  13. The blogger from MIB said it's definitely bigger than just him holding the Made In Brazil sign. Hopefully, it's an exhaustive interview. Or maybe we get to ask him questions or something.
  14. Larger version of a photo from the Enough Magazine spread from The Fashionisto's TwitPic. EDIT: I removed it. It's on page 81 now.
  15. Still in NY, I believe.
  16. Chico is such a sweetheart. He maintains two Facebook accounts. One is for his fans and another for his real friends. So many people want a piece of him! LOL.

He looks so young in these photos. The second photo is adorable. Thanks Stefan!
  18. He really shouldn't be allowed to wear any clothes anymore. I mean, this is the umpteenth time that he's been photographed shirtless. Not that I'm complaining or anything. LOL. Kidding aside, Chico's following has been growing rather steadily. He has 2,233 fans on Facebook as of now.
  19. Francisco, Frankie, Chico… Whatever you may call him, Francisco Lachowski is a Brazilian model quickly on the rise and capturing hearts as he does so. Well mannered, eager to learn and always a pleasure to have on set, this is only the beginning of a modeling future that is sure to be as long as it is bright. In a followup to our introduction post, we had the opportunity to interview the promising Ford model. How did your family and friends initially react to you winning Supermodel Brazil? Francisco: They liked [it] a lot and they support me…always. You walked an incredible number of shows this past runway season…how was that? Francisco: It was amazing! [Especially] a great experience to do the shows in New York City. What is your most memorable shoot to date? Francisco: Dior shoot [with Karl Lagerfeld] You are relatively new to modeling, yet have quite the following. How does it feel? Francisco: It’s a pleasure and it’s very motivating for me. Has modeling changed your view on fashion? Francisco: Yes, [it] did change. Before I didn’t know much about designers and all this, [but] now I have to and I pay a bit more attention [in] what to wear. How has your day to day schedule changed? Francisco: It has changed completely. Much more intense now. What’s your favorite part about modeling? Francisco: Traveling and meeting new people. Least favorite? Francisco: To be alone and away from the family. What do you like to do on your downtime? Francisco: Computer, music and sleep. Activities? Francisco: Sports, skating, movies, social life… Upcoming work? Francisco: Lots of editorials, lookbooks for Calvin Klein, DKNY…Campaign season is just starting now [and] I have high hopes. 20. LOL. I kid, I kid. This photo is not enough for me to go back to being Catholic. If he becomes my boyfriend, then maybe I will.
  21. Okay, I now believe in a higher being. I might have to return to the Catholic fold! Chico restored my faith in God. ROFL.
  22. Holy Mother of God! I died seeing this! Photography by Jenny Risher Smith
  23. It's great that he gets to do a lot of jobs these days... and a lot of fans. I can't wait what he does next. Hopefully he scores a major campaign soon!

I've always had the impression that Marlon takes modeling work rather seriously. He's almost always brooding or scowling in every photo I see of him. Not that that's a bad thing. He looks absolutely sexy doing it. LOL. He should loosen up a bit.
  25. Good Lord, Chico! I have to say this is definitely one of my favorite editorials of him! Damn! I am speechless! Nice rebound from the less-than-stellar VMAN shoot.
