  1. te’a is such a force on and off the court. it’s wild to think she’s been balling in china lately — the wcba is no joke in terms of physical play, and her scoring ability definitely fits that league. i always felt she was underrated during her time with the sparks; she has that explosive first step that’s hard to guard. beyond the stats, her impact on the marketing side of the wnba was huge. she really brought a different energy to the league. hope to see her make a comeback to the states soon, the league is expanding and we need that kind of depth and personality back. has anyone seen her recent highlights from the chinese league? her handles still look sharp.
  2. the way you described her facial harmony is spot on. that contrast between the angular jawline and the "romantic" aquiline nose is exactly what makes her stand out from the typical commercial looks. she has that distinct editorial edge that high-end brands like prada or schiaparelli are constantly hunting for. usually, when a model has such strong aristocratic features, they can look too "cold," but her almond eyes really soften the whole look. select definitely has a potential star here. it’ll be interesting to see her first major runway season — with that bone structure, she’s going to look incredible under runway lighting. do you know if she’s already been scouted for any upcoming fashion weeks?

she was absolutely ethereal. prince had a lot of protégés, but vanity was on a whole different level of charisma. "nasty girl" is still such a heavy hitter on the dancefloor even decades later, it completely redefined that minimalist synth-pop sound of the early 80s. it’s always fascinating to see her transition from that era to her later life as an evangelist. she really went through a lot and came out the other side with such a different perspective. the last dragon is a total cult classic too, her chemistry with taimak was great. truly a one-of-a-kind artist who left us too soon.
  4. totally agree on the facial harmony. that mix of a strong bone structure with those romantic, softer features is exactly what high fashion brands are looking for right now. she has that "timeless" look that works both for edgy editorials and classic beauty campaigns. the way her angular jawline contrasts with the full lips gives her so much versatility in front of the camera. i can definitely see her killing it on the runway for brands like prada or schiaparelli where that aristocratic but slightly sharp look is always in demand. select definitely found a gem with her. do you know if she has any major campaigns lined up yet?
