the girls need to be classy, elegant, "the pinnacle of beautiful", and by that i mean classical beauty. great examples are, to go by generations, grace kelly in the sixties, paulina porizkova in the 80s, and valentina currently. some of these girls currently mentioned have a beauty that is too severe or 'unique'. also, what happened to submitting the b&w portraits? that way we can have a written list *and* a visual compilation! thank you!!!

oh wow great job!!! i have to admit i had never heard of Carole Bouquet, she is stunning! i need to do more research on her another classic favorite of mine, underrated in my opinion, is marie laforet. saw her in purple noon (plein soleil i believe?), and loved her look! big beautiful eyes, pouty mouth, so sexy. i think i am going to start a thread for her here in bellazon, i don't think there is one.

just to add on FRANCE, i think that in a way, laetitia's beauty and fame come more from her overall sensuality and amazing body, so womanly and soft and real, unlike a lot of the tall gangly anorexic girls she was competing with. her face in particular i don't think is her most amazing feature. her eyes, for example, are a bit small, don't you think? that is just my opinion of course. france itself has said she is a national treasure ( i **love** that about france by the way, can you imagine the united states saying that anything except guns or $$$ is a treasure? nope. ah, in france they appreciate female beauty the way it should be!)

ah, better! except still i don't like the fact that she is frowning, trying to give a sultry/sexual appearance. that is what i mean by "clean, classy". the sex appeal should come from a mood of elegance and sophistication and utter divinity, not from a sultry selling-herself attitude. she is a national treasure, after all!

ah, you are from france! that is good, you should know your beautiful girls well. personally, let me say i love your pic of nicole trunfio, but we are getting off topic. it was easy to find a great clean classic pic of paulina because she did the advertising for estee lauder for so long, filippa has done polo and a lot of edgy fashion, i can't find a great clean classsic pic! i've been looking the one you put up is great, not a portrait (shoulders, head), but it will do! any recommendations, Taben?
