Shanina's outfit is beyond horrible. Poor girl. And I bet you she is walking JUST that segment...yet again another example of stunt casting where VS hires models based on an outfit. Her outfits in 2012 were killer and showed off her true potential. Shame. Let's hope it doesn't get any worse than that outfit. Every segment is guaranteed to have at least one butt-ugly look.

So for VS, Maud & Sigrid > Edita, Maryna, Nadine, Trentini Makes perfect sense. Can't believe they turned down Edita over pale washed up fish-face Maud.

I'm going to legit cry if Natasha ends up not being in the show and we were fooling ourselves this whole time. I want Poly back soo bad, ever since 2006!! Anyway, here are my answers: 1. How long should a VS Angel/Supermodel remain with the brand before they leave for greener pastures? I think 5-7 years is a good time span for a decent angel, and then double that (10+ years) for and IT girl (Adriana, Tyra, Gisele, Heidi etc). There should always be a few IT-girls and regular girls mixed in. 2. How many Angels should there be in total? There is currently 8-9? They need less angels. Quality over quantity. I think 6 would be a great number, just like in the 2006 show. That would give each girl adequate attention, and would make sure that they are all used properly. With too many girls, a few end up not doing much (like Lindsay) and the entire notion of being and angel loses its prestige. They need more well-rounded models too, models that can cover most bases, such as runway, catalogue, spokesmodel, commercial, and social media/awareness; this would be better than one model that is very good at each thing. Think about models like Gisele, Adriana, Doutzen, Karolina, who are good at all those things! 3. How many years should a model be able to walk the VSFS before they can no longer. New blood is always nice. For angels, I would say 10 years (including the years they were non angels). For regular models, 5 years is a good time span to run their course, and maybe a few additional shows after they stop. Anything more is overkill (*ahem, Izabel Goulart). But I would love it if in each show, they bring back a select 2-3 'golden oldies' girls. For example, Poly being casted in the show this year would be a golden oldie. Same with Carmen Kass in 2008. I would love it if they bring back Winberg or Stegner as golden oldies. Same with Caroline Trentini or Andi Muise. 4. How long should the PINK spokesmodel remain in PINK before she's either fired, or moved to mainline? I would say roughly 2 years. I also don't think the girl should 'automatically' be moved to mainline. If she's great for mainline (like Elsa) go right ahead, but if not, she should just leave IMO (like Chanel should have, instead of going to mainline).

That hair doesn't look bad! Wish it had more volume on the top though. The 2008 make-up was a bit too heavy in my opinion. I really liked 2012's to be honest. Every girl looked good that year.

Although her outfits sucked, I personally think that Adriana looked her absolute best in the 2007 VSFS in terms of hair/make-up/body. 2005 comes close, but she still was a bit underdeveloped and young-looking. Any ideas on how the hair/makeup will look this year? I hope they go more all out on the hair. I miss it when the hair was super voluminous like 2006, 2007, and 2008. It's so flat now.

Haha for real. I totally agree. Cara clearly isn't the typical hot model/sexy walk that VS goes for, but she makes up for it by adding fun to the show. Her videos are always hilarious and she seems really liked by all the models. I won't miss her on the catwalk, but I'll definitely miss all the hilarious photo-ops/videos she brings.

Agreed. In fact, her and Adriana should switch outfits for that segment. The high waisted skirt would elongate Ale more, while Adriana would rock the stockings more.

1999 was a totally different show back then so I don't even count it towards how VS currently does things (actually the last 10-11 years or so) VS loves all glitter and pageantry of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and they have issues breaking away from being predictable; and as such not one model has ever opened & closed a single show in recent years, and I don't see them starting the trend with Behati when they had WAY better openers/closers in their cast years ago and yet VS didn't allow them the honors (pageantry walkers x a billion - Gisele, KK, Adriana, Tyra). I mean I guess it's probable, but highly improbable. True, but you could argue that closing the show does not have the prestige it used to have, mostly because there are now performers in the last segments of every show. So as a result, the last thing people see is the performer instead of the closing model. So if Behati did indeed close too, I feel like it wouldn't be a big deal the way it was in 2003-2009.

Only if it were remixed, tbh. It's a good song in general, but not a catwalk song at all. However, I could see VS being like "fuck it" and just using it anyway. It could work for a slower segment maybe? I've been listening to Break Free by Ariana, and I totally think it will be used for PINK. It's perfect! I'm hoping that it's a theme for Sara and Elsa to finally 'break free' from the PINK segment lol.

I wonder if Cara will sneak into this year's show? It's clear that the ball is in her court. If she wants to do the show/can do the show, they will definitely just stick her into a pre-made outfit and let her walk. I have an inkling that she will show up. Where is Paper Towns being shot?

What? Josephine and Lais are very classically beautiful. Lais is more so than Jasmine IMO. Edgy would be girls like Bregje, Magda, and Sara.

Adriana is way too mature for that outfit. That belongs on the younger models. Stick her and a thong and garter instead and it's good to go.

Nah It's always always a mix. Usually it includes both girls who made it and didn't make it. Because Grace was interviewed and DID make it, I would assume Bridget is out.

Caroline Trentini in the 2006 show had probably one of the best walks in the history of the show. The walk at 0:43 still slays me.

I think it just means that they have seen those girls already, and they scratch them off as they go. I really really hope Toni makes it.

Ahh I really really hope so fingers crossed! She's one of my favorite models ever, and she absolutely killed it in the 2006 show. Plus I've met her and she is by far one of the most pleasant, humble women I have ever encountered.

What does that mean ? I don't even know. These casting directors are truly delusional, and they act like they are so knowledgable and important. I bet we as Bellazon could pick a better cast than those losers could. It's just frustrating because the show could easily be soo much better if they just pick the right girls. It's not like they are scraping the bottom of the barrel; they are working with some of the most iconic models of the past decade and yet choose complete noob HF models that have neither the look nor persona for the show.

And also, John admitted that he cast Grace because he found it interesting that she went from a Givenchy girl to a 'women'. What the fuck kind of reasoning is that?! And then they say that they don't want to let personal connections to models get in the way of who they cast... Imagine a fairy segment with Stam, Trentini, Elsa, Toni, Frida, Kelly Gale, Doutzen, Cindy Bruna, and Sasha Luss ahh it would have been so magical!

YAS To Natasha Poly!!!!!! By far she's going to be my favorite girl this year. absolutely can't wait!! Also, HOW THE FUCK does VS say no to Toni Garrn, Caroline Trentini, Jessica Stam, Maryna, Aline Weber, Gigi Hadid, and Nadine over Maud, Sigrid, Yumi, Grace (who came off as super snobby in the video - "Oh, I'll just attend the castings, I guess?"), and that Daniela chick with that whack ass walk?!?! I'm really really sad about Trentini. She has been looking her absolute best since her pregnancy. Such a shame. Plus she is good friends with Candice, Ale, Isabeli, and Adriana and it would have made for some cool backstage photo-ops. Also, Maryna was by far one of the best on the catwalk last year. They always play her dirty, and it's so tiring. At this point I wouldn't even care if she was stuck in the PINK segment, I just want her in the show!! Also, why is Martha Hunt still attending castings? You would think that she would be in a shoo in considering not even Izabel, Jac, or Isabeli had to attend castings.
