funny? no. that's the idea of trash-talking and taunting. is that you don't get caught, the other guy does. that's why you have to be better than zizou was. man, it happens ALL the time in hockey. they never get the initiator. maybe 5% of the time.

thing is: you're paid to be a leader. millions watching. they're paid to get you off your game. it's an aspect of the game. people calling black guys monkeys. calling mothers whores. those guys shoud be punished, but if you respond, you're only punishing yourself. that's the thing with Beckham, Rooney, Zizou... you know they have that button. you press it, your odds of winning go up. for the world cup final, I'd go out there and call some Italian player any kind of slur, probably.
