"That's how we are; we're a very arts-and-craftsy family. We include the kids in all the holidays and when Papa comes back from a concert we make signs that say welcome home. "He's always coming and going, and the kids understand it and know that when he comes back it will be something special." Heidi and Seal will welcome a girl in October.

Unlike her pal Victoria Beckham, who wears the highest of heels when out with her children, Heidi sensibly went for comfortable casualwear as she brought her kids to a playcentre in Los Angeles. The German beauty, 35, is four months pregnant with her fourth child. The couple have frequently spoke of their wish for a large family and Heidi clearly loves being pregnant after having so many children in close succession. After the birth of Johan two years ago, she told People magazine: 'We love that they will grow up close in age. This is what Seal and I have always wanted: a home filled with children's laughter.' Heidi recently admitted she finds herself getting emotional over the smallest things with her children. She said: 'I’m a tough woman, but when it comes to my kids, forget about it; I’m always in tears.'
