Ali looks really stunning and thank god it's not the typical risqué photoshoot Terry Richardson usually displays in his body of work (then again, his SS 09 campaign for Lacoste was tame too). It's very teenage adolescent but it's very cute and I think Erin also looked very charming. I was browsing around my usual website visits and I look up an article that was recent-ish (?) from Page Six magazine and it shows a a little note about Ali being an admirer of Robert Pattinson ! http://www.nypost.com/pagesixmag/issues/20090208/Six+City Aww I thought that was adorable and if she wants to date him, then go for it! She looks really beautiful in those shots. I really miss seeing Bridget since she's been kept a low profile for too long! I don't think she's even modelling anymore because IMG doesn't have her on their mainboard website . The first time I saw Bridget was for Polo Ralph Lauren ad and made my jaw drop over how incredibly breathtaking she looked. I'm not really sure about how she had looked in the now but in the '90s, she was my favourite model. Ralph Lauren was my favourite pairing with her and everything she did was absolutely stunning whether it was in his campaigns or signing events.

No she's not. Ali is very diverse if you look at all the work she's done considering she is young at 18 but be more sophisticated in photos and runways. She was on the cover of Wallpaper and was nude and look very much older. Even her Vogue Mexico cover shows how more grown up she looks compared to when she started. This is a perfect example in one of her photos in Numero called "Volte Face".

Word ! SS.10 men's season is coming soon. I guess we'll have to wait and see because a part of me does have that tiny hope that he'll comeback for a bit but then again, he's probably moved on and for the better too. EDIT: Holy cow I just remembered something! Appearantly I heard this rumour that during one of his seasons, a model (wait, male model) tried throwing himself onto Ryan. Guess who ?

Wow I cannot believe how underrated Ali is here at Bellazon ! She's one of the most beautiful runway models who has great hair, luminous pale skin, stunning face, amazing thick brows, cute pout and the best nose for a female I've ever seen. The model I have on my avatar is Ali. She's probably one of the most chill models out there and a lot has happened for her during last year coming forth about her past struggles in the industry. I love how she talks in a calming way where she is very intelligent when doing her interviews and carefully thinks about what she says plus the music she likes are simply great like Radiohead and Modest Mouse. I'm a little sad that she skipped the FW 09 season but hopefully she'll be back in their campaigns and gain more editorial work since she's getting really popular. Anyways, she's already done a SS 09 campaign for Coach and you can check her out on their site Coach.com.

Compared to when he had first started, he was very young and looked so at ease during first season which was amazing. With all of the seasons he had done, you can notice how he face became more refined as well as his physique because he was quite lanky when he became a familiar face on the runways. I really like the fact that he has a more classic type of look from the '50s or '60s yet can look so modern too and those cheekbones and jawline! Hollywood should taking notice of him .

Aww thanks ! Hmm... I still wonder about the possibility if he ever wants to get back into modelling (although I highly doubt it) since he was great on the runway and wonderfully photographed in editorials and campaigns.

I did just say they don't resemble (although I do get where they're coming from) because they are different but still, both are really stunning .

She looks absolutely beautiful in her Collistar photos. Rianne's still fairly young (in the fashion world) since she's only 22 years old. She could have a suprising comeback if given the chance (like Adriana Lima's recent appearance at Givenchy) but it depends on herself, her agent, the agency and the client to determine her bookings. At least she's still out there modelling although it's not a job that's long lasting and she knows that. There's nothing wrong with Rianne taking nude photos because in the fashion world, when done with the right photographers and visions, then it'll be stunning! I personally think of fashion nude photography as an art form. I don't really think her looking like Adriana is one of the reasons she wasn't in the VS show although it would be the lamest excuse to NOT use her (gain another gorgeous beauty!). Sure they look similar in photos but I remember they both modelled at Luca Luca in New York during SS 05 and they were near each other but they didn't really look alike. She was a La Perla (high end lingerie company) poster girl for a while so that might be a reason too .

Well I'm a sucker for nice profiles ! I do see the "David" resemblance since he's basically known as a masterpiece haha. Speaking of that, didn't Ryan do an editorial where he was shot by Mert and Marcus looking like David ? I think besides Ryan, the models I personally love for their side profiles are mainly females like Rianne Ten Haken, Darla Baker and Ali Michael. There are some male models that I really admire like Evandro Soldati and Matthias Lauridsen, but most male models to me never really stood out like Ryan did since his face is very handsome and pretty much looks like a Roman God.

I really like your insight. You got everything I thought pointed out and personally to me, he's sort of like an Adonis because his look is very refined and well his features are very stunning plus his killer side profile (which is one of the best). Most models have that conceited type of vibe (but the fashion world is very superficial) and he was mostly normal and was well thought as he spoke in his interviews where some might say he was kinda cocky in one interview but it showed that his speech pattern was very confident in my opinion. I tend to draw towards models who stay grounded a lot and I believe when he started out, his dad had accompanied him to a lot of his modelling gigs which doesn't happen a lot because some of the young faces that start out are from other countries and aren't used to being by themselves and they get caught up in the partying lifestyle since it's "glamorous" by the influence of others.

I don't want to upset people since it might be like pouring salt on someone's wound, let's just put it at that . It's kinda sad that he's not modelling anymore but then again, a job like that isn't always long term so he's a smart guy and is looking for better oppertunities as his goals, I guess. I know a lot of people were a tad bit excited about the possibility of him returning since he was rumoured to come back in January but most of his former agencies don't feature his portfolio and isn't a face on their main board websites so it was kind of obvious he decided not to pursue his career after he took a break (to catch up school?). Besides, he did say he wanted to go into acting and his face in many photos shows various emotions he can do in a still capture so I definately think he could have great potential in that career (I just hope he's not going to act like those younger Hollywood who are sickenly overrated by miles :yuckky:).

It's nice to see that you guys admire him too since to me (even though he did a lot of high profile gigs), he was a bit more underrated because he was more consistent with his work where some are highly overrated (those shall remain anonymous ). Anyways besides that I like the fact that he has that look which is so elegant that not most people could achieve it. Plus he's a fellow Canadian so holler !

Damn! My girlcrush for Rianne gets bigger everytime ! Those A|X advertisements are killer and I agree that she's more of a better choice since Giorgio seems to like Rianne and he puts her in his fashion shows when she hits runway season (although I'm really sad that she didn't do any shows in Milan or Paris for the FW.09/10 season ). She's got the natural aura that is sensual because it doesn't even look like she tries but is just sexy. Those polas are hot too! Her body is so rockin' Victoria's Secret should kick themselves for not booking her when she went to the castings for the 2008 show, it's likely because of her work with La Perla (which is one of the best!). I personally think her agency should give her more attention since when she started out, she was already working with the likes of Meisel for a Versace ad campaign at like what? 17 years old? Then she puts her modelling career on hold and by the time she comes back, most of the high fashion shows she books aren't interested that much. It may have been the fact that the fashion world changes but damn she was one of the few girls I enjoy while most of them are too alien or android like. She should probably switch agencies to some place like DNA (since they have great polaroid test shooters and I could see her there) or IMG since they do have great models there too. That way, some of the industry can recognize her again. Anyways sorry for my rant, just had to get it out there.

Hey! New to the Ryan Taylor fanclub although I don't think of myself as extreme as you guys (he is super duper handsome )! I thought it was really cool how all of you guys admire his work (and appearantly his nose?) since I believe he did quit and was stated to move onto acting and school from what I remember.
