Juan Mata, jugador del Valencia CF, ha explicado en la sala de prensa del Camp de Mestalla la importancia de ganar el encuentro de mañana ante el Sevilla, una victoria que mantendría al equipo en posiciones de ‘Champions’ y recortaría distancia ante un rival directo. El joven burgalés ha insistido en el apoyo de la afición valencianista. Importante ganar “El equipo va a salir a ganar ante el Sevilla y esperamos el campo lleno. La afición sabe lo que nos estamos jugando y sin su ayuda el objetivo es más complicado. El partido es importante para nosotros ya que supone mantener los puestos Champions y, además, recortarle tres puntos a un rival. Ésta es la primera de los ocho finales que nos restan y debemos estar a tope”. El rival: Sevilla “El Sevilla es un rival importante, que está haciendo una temporada muy buena. Los enfrentamientos ante ellos siempre son muy emocionantes y todavía tenemos el recuerdo de la Copa del Rey. Será un encuentro bonito”. Personal “Estoy muy tranquilo. Hay rachas de cara a puerta y ahora estoy bien. Mi objetivo es seguir aprendiendo y mejorando”. Su peña valencianista “Sólo tengo palabras de agradecimiento para la afición del Valencia CF. Estoy muy contento y agradecido con el hecho de que le vayan a poner mi nombre a una peña”. Alexis, de lateral “Alexis es un defensa muy completo que puede rendir en cualquier posición. Puede jugar donde sea y será el míster quien decida”.
