Supermodel Karolina Kurkova photographed 'with no belly button' Czech model Karolina Kurkova has baffled fashion-watchers after a photograph of her suggested she has no belly button (Image © AP Photo/Evan Agostini) A lingerie model from the Czech Republic has baffled fashion-watchers all over the world after a photograph of her taken at a catwalk show suggested she has no belly button. 24-year-old Karolina Kurkova was one of 35 women modelling for American lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret at a show in Miami Beach, Florida. Subverting the standard navel debate over the merits of an “outie” or “innie” belly button, a photograph taken at the event suggested she has no navel at all. The suggestion that the image had been doctored in some way was debunked as Kurkova had been lined up with several dozen other models at the event – all of whom boasted conventional belly buttons, reports the Daily Telegraph. Kurkova is one of the world’s highest paid models. In 2007, Forbes magazine estimated her annual earnings to be £2.3 million. In a recent shoot for Victoria’s Secret, she was photographed wearing a bra studded with 2,000 diamonds thought to be worth around £3.5 million. She is also thought to be dating champion heavyweight boxer Wladmimir Klitschko. Kurkova’s navel mystery is not the first time she has hit the headlines in curious circumstances. According to the Daily Telegraph, she reportedly feeds her shih tzu dog Bella with caviar.
