  1. new compil!

Thanks Lisa for the compilation. it's awesome. Do you have that picture at 2:36, could u please post it here? by the way, did you get my private message? (about avi) Maybe your inbox is full?

  2. Her beauty didn't "fade", it's just a different type of beauty. Sadly our society doesn't appreciate older and more mature beauty. She's doing what she loves, helping animals- thats all that seems to matter to her now. I think that's great and nothing to be sad about. She's still alive! :)

Aging gracefully is, I am convinced, the ultimate chic. BB did age with dignity but I guess she gets more scrutinized for being a former sex-symbol.

Yes, but also because she didn't have any plastic surgery; she accepted her age, unlike Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, and later Cher, Priscilla Presley and many others... Some people can't handle naturally aged women, they admire plastic faces instead. BB can afford best plastic surgery, but obviously she has better things to do. I like that about her alot!

i agree with vanina when she says brigitte was more scrutinized not just for beying a sex symbol in the past famous in the whole world, which makes it bigger, but i think when someone is really beautiful, specially women, people want this person to be beautiful the entire life.if brigitte was ugly as younger, people would probably say:well she was ugly, now she`s more because she`s old.and that`s all.

but just because she was so beautiful peoplein general tend to find such a pitty she`s old now.

i saw some comments the other day, when they post her young photos besides to her current photos(which really annoys me)and almost everybody says:oh,i can`t beliebve that`s the same person who did and god created woman.or once,in some forum,a member complained about posting pictures of bb aged.excuse me?these guys thought she woul,or should, remain in the same age, after all these years?nobody has done it till now.i admit,i used to think the same as them.just a long while after that i realized how stupid i was.that`s in general culture, not accept aging.but now,and here i agree with child,i really can find her beauty nowadays.i never heard exactly what she said about muslins, and if she had prejudice,i probably don`t agree with her but i really love how she dosn`t try to hide her age.and i can find the young brigitte in her when seeing the interviews, some old women don`t like to have long hair but she keeps her amazing long hair and i see she still has that energy.and she said she was really unhappy in the past, didn`t she.now s`he is matter and that`s what matters anyway.

ps:have you noticed ,that now it is looking more like a forum.as we are relly having a conversation instead of only posting photos? not that i`m complanning about the amazing photos.i just find i funny.

Im not complaining either- love talking about BB. :) Too bad my friends dont really care about older fashion icons, only new celebs (i find most of them too boring and artificial) I hate that too, Nathali, when they compare old and new BB pictures!! grr She got older, so what? Would it be better if she died young? Some ppl are so thoughtless! I dont exactly know what she said about muslims, maybe she hates some religious practices which include killing of animals? Those are horrible no matter what religion. :(

  5. Excuse me? Beyoncé, black Bardot????? OMG! What's the matter with Jay-Z? Maybe it's too much drugs, or maybe living with that nasty bitch drove him mad. I never liked this woman. She's evil and mean. Moreover, she's neither as talented nor beautiful as the powers that are behind her want us to believe. I wish she would disappear, but first, I'd wish she would leave BB alone!!!!!!!!!!!!

there's only one Brigitte Bardot, and Beyonce although a very beautiful women, is no where near Bardot. But speaking of similarities, anyone noticed Mick Jaggers daughter, Georgia? she has been compared to BB too. I think there is a bit of resemblance:

Brigitte Bardot on Cannes, celebrity and career

    POSTED: 1736 GMT (0136 HKT), May 24, 2007

SAINT-TROPEZ, France (CNN) -- She was the object of desire for most of the male population in the 1950's and 60's and one was one of the first actresses to earn the title "sex kitten."

Now, Brigitte Bardot uses her status as a celebrity to bring publicity to the animal rights campaigns that she is spearheading, protesting the abuse of creatures including seal cubs and dogs.

In an exclusive interview, CNN talked to this star-turned-activist about Cannes, her career and her recent work promoting the humane treatment of animals.

CNN: Can you tell us about your first impressions of Cannes and 1955 and your most precious memories of the festival?

Brigitte Bardot: The first time that I came to Cannes, I think it was in 1953, I was 18 and unknown. I came with Roger Vadim, my husband, who was a journalist with Paris Match, who had to interview Leslie Caron.

At the time of this first visit in 1953, I followed Vadim as a reporter on an American airplane carrier en route to Cannes. On board, the commandant received Leslie Caron, Lana Turner, Gary Cooper, Kirk Douglas and lots of others for a party. Totally unknown and very intimidated, I hid behind Vadim when the commandant greeted me and shouted to the crew in the middle of the bridge, "That's Brigitte!" Not knowing how to answer, I said, "Hello, men!" Everyone went crazy! The sailors lifted me up and carried me around in triumph, shouting, "Bridget! Bridget!" They had no idea who I was because I was nobody.

In 1967, it was far less funny. The crowd and the press were hysterical, and hustled me, crushed me and abused me. Everyone said the police were completely overwhelmed. It's an atrocious thing to remember, but it was to please my husband at the time, Gunter Sachs, who was showing a film made in Kenya, which I'm sure wouldn't have been shown without my presence. That was 40 years ago, and I've never been back.

CNN: You're an icon of French cinema. What made you this way?

BB: I don't know. I think that I arrived and left at the right time. My wild and free side unsettled some, and unwedged others.

CNN: They say that your role in "And God Created Woman" brought a whole new audience to French cinema -- how did the world's reaction to the film make you feel?

BB: Vadim became famous worldwide as a director, and I as an actress, but the other side of the coin was terrible. My life was totally turned upside down. I was followed, spied upon, adored, insulted. My private life became public. Overnight, I found myself imprisoned, a gilded prison but a prison nonetheless. I had lots of opportunities to survive this madness. Madame de Staël said, "Glory is the bright mourning of happiness."

CNN: Your foundation has met with great success promoting the rights of animals. What are its current projects?

BB: There are lots of them: anti-fur campaigns, the horsemeat industry, breeding conditions, the transport and slaughter of animals for their meat... The task is long, exhausting and often discouraging.

    CNN: What's your strongest memory?

BB: The day when I decided to stop everything.

CNN: When you think back to your cinematic career, what makes you the most proud?

BB: That it gave me the profile that today allows me to fight against the suffering of animals.

CNN: Out of your numerous films, which is your favorite, and why?

BB: "En cas de malheur" with Jean Gabin. I was face to face with a superstar of French cinema, which intimidated me greatly at the time.

"La Vérité" by Henri Georges Clouzot. A superb role but a devilish Clouzot.

"L'Ours et la Poupée" with Jean Pierre Cassel, who made a wonderful partner and friend.

CNN: If you had the opportunity to make a film today, with which director would you like to work? And alongside which actors?

BB: Oh la la! The page has turned. Cinema is finished for me.

CNN: Can you describe the spirit of Cannes in five words?

BB: Dream, glamour, glitz, international, artificial.

  8. Thank you for all your lovely pics girls! :flower:

What do you think are her freckles true ???? :ermm: or she painted them by herself ?

There's another picture where her freckles look obviously painted on. Theyre abit too big for real freckles, I think. But there are other pictures where you can see her natural freckles from the sun, they're much smaller and not very visible. Like Lisa said, the sun can make freckles appear. But also, she could easily cover them up with foundation or powder if she had them all the time. :) Either way, she's gorgeous!

Thanks everyone for taking time to upload all these amazing images!

    Hello Nathali,

could you tell me where you have picked up these scans and pictures? :jimmy:

Because I'm sick of you stealing some of my scans and autographs of my own collection that I put on another site; :anger: :beating:

Rather than consult a copy, I invite all members of this site to go on the original website where you can find all the original pictures and scans :

    http://fan-de-bb.forumpro.fr/

Some of us speak English and we are very sympathetic! ;)

don't hesitate come and see us!

    Cordially,

    zebulon51

Hello Zebulon, so where are the sympathetic ones? This is your first post and you come here to accuse people of "stealing". I dont know of which files you speak, or if they're yours at all, but if you want people to visit your site, please try to be nicer. My advice is, if you want to keep your BB scans private, don't put them on the Internet. I uploaded alot of BB stuff on a site and now see those pictures circulating on some other sites too. I dont mind it, I'm HAPPY to see that BB has many fans. I'm more than happy to share. I can't stand when some people act like Internet police and want to limit everyone and everything.

There's a nice community on this board, and especially this thread, please don't come here to fight. We like to keep it fun and friendly. :) Take care.

  10. awesome, thanks everyone!
