Sanja, you may have to stop posting for a while. I'm approaching enjoyment overload. Too much good stuff!

OMG! That last pic wasn't in the ARENA magazine?! WHY NOT!!! Those are from the new Max magazine. I'm assuming they're outtakes from the original Arena shoot. Another magazine I must buy. Correction: the original pictures appeared in British Esquire. Just so you know.

Here's another vote for "you rock". (Y)

You're right Qball. I would much rather imagine it. (And of course it would be me in the fantasy and not him.) <_< In all seriousness though, I agree with everything you said. I read article about a paparazzo who did everything in his car - including going to the bathroom - because he was afraid the moment he looked away the celebrity he was stalking would escape. And he seemed proud of the number of times he got punched in the face by people.

Great job finding those sanja! (Y) I wonder when those pics were taken. She certainly doesn't look pregnant.

The baby will come in December. If Heidi and Seal know the gender, they haven't revealed it. (Seal had been misquoted or mistranslated earlier when the tabloids said it would be a boy.)
  11. I'd say this is daring: Heidi Klum

You asked for it Yellowstar, and here it is: translated from http://www.max.de/pop-kultur/people/klum by ez c Our Most Beautiful Can a Heidi Klum still surprise us? Yes! For example with the sensational photos from the star photographer Rankin. And with new sides [to her personality] that we didn't know and that prove to us: we have underestimated our Heidi for much too long. MAX Online shows the new MAX Cover with the supermodel and more terrific photos. You'll find the complete and exclusive photo-series in the new issue- now at the newsstand. If one is young and a man, he places three large demands on life: to live in a dangerous city, drive a dangerous car, and get together with a dangerous woman. The city and the car can be controlled. One must search long and far for the woman. So the young men must have had a problem with Heidi Klum. Heidi out of Bergisch Gladbach, born 1973, blond, for a long time was the opposite of dangerous. She has none of these qualities: the explosiveness of Naomi Campbell. You never would have seen her like her collegue Helena Christensen - rolling around naked in the sand for Chris Isaak's video "Wicked Game". Heidi and Kate Moss at the same rock n' roll party in the muddy backstage area of an open-air concert? Unthinkable. One can confidently assume she does not even know how to snort a line of coke. Instead we connect Heidi with Bon Prix and the Otto catalogue. And with gummy candies between her beautiful toes, and before and after painting her toenails always wearing Birkenstock sandals stuck to her feet. One also knows: she was married for years to American hairstylist Ric Pipino, who looked a little gay with his bizarre hairstyle. We didn't grasp the earlier life of Heidi Klum, and it was at that time that the woman earned millions because she obviously served yet more millions than the projections of all conceivable imaginations. For us, Heidi was as cold as leftover sauerkraut soup. Then came the day she kicked the hairstylist out into orbit, (amusingly we read that- exactly - at the barbershop [this is a pun in the original german]) and turned to wilder things. Anthony Kiedis, for example, the front man of Red Hot Chili Peppers. An admitted ex-junkie, a rocker. And suddenly we had a feeling in Heidi, that we finally had at the ten-year graduation party, that a wild thing came out of the grey mouse Julia. The Wild Mouse We had possibly underestimated the woman for years. At the latest, we also saw Heidi on Sundays around the Formula 1 circuit on TV, and it dawned on us: she is one of us. Jet-set millionaire Flavio Briatore, the Playboy of the Formula 1 scene, for a summer and the following autumn, again and again, whenever a camera was near, placed his hand on Heidi's bottom, or let them photograph her in her tight swimsuit - and suddenly Heidi was pregnant. Heidi profited from the liason more than he did: in that summer she finally attained the status of a sex symbol, and the credibility that comes with it, that she so urgently needed. Monte Carlo, Benetton and Briatore - it had so much more sound and glamour than Katjes and Douglas. Obviously Heidi - before her baby was even born - seperated herself from Briatore. Who except for Anna Nicole Smith finds one like that sufficient, but an old Knacker [a slang term that I think is derogatory for an old person]. A few months later, Heidi found someone new: the musician Seal. She told a women's magazine once how the marriage proposal went from "der Siel" (as Heidi's father Gunther calls his son-in-law): with a helicopter, they had flown to a solitary summit. On the top, Seal had prepared a trail of rose petals that led to a bear fur, on top of which was Seal's guitar, and beside which was an igloo. "He sang me a song, fell to his knee, and proposed," she said. "And then..." -artful pause- "there stood the igloo. Which naturally had to be consummated." Can one imagine Heidi Klum having sex? The Complete Woman Since the end of the Pipino era: yes. Heidi is what men describe gladly after the eighth beer as a "Vollweib" [lit. full woman]: curvy, sensual, sexy. And undoubtedly experienced. An ex-rockerbraut [bride to rock n' roll]. And, since recently, also dangerous, at least a feeling she is - at least a little. When she moderated her show "Germany's Next Top Model", a storm of indignation raged through the country. In the show, girls who would have gladly become supermodels were flown out because they weighed in at 52 kg in a body size of 176 cm. "Too thick, goodbye", judged, something short, the jury under the chair of the Klum. Here, Heidi gained sympathy points. Not only because it let us suspect a hardness that one previously would not have given her credit for (it is always exciting to discover a new side to a woman), but also because she moderated the show courageously and with an authoritative sight from a pause in speech that would lead into the next unfinished sentence. That was genuine. That was entirely unlike the modeling world of which Heidi says gladly: "all for show, all for appearance, which is not real life. You have to see me once without my makeup." There goes only one woman who exceeds Heidi in her basic inclination towards success - and just like Heidi we like her for it nevertheless - Steffi Graf. Just like Klum, Graf was for a long time the prototype of German perfectionism. Both arrived at the point with ambition, discipline, talent and hard work. Both had their father as their manager. Just as Steffi Graf back home brought her service-play steadily for many years, Heidi Klum herself behaved so professional for years ("I can be on at the push of a button. And when I am supposed to dance, I dance.") and did so flawlessly (meaning: without scandal) in the fragile network of the modeling and fashion industries so that she was fully booked while all the thin-as-a-rake "heroin-chic" girls were interviewing and Heidi's 90-60-90 measurements were being turned down. Also with Steffi Graf, one had the final exam feeling when suddenly they read that she had married Andre Agassi, the coolest dog on the tennis circuit. Late Love Great God, how can one be so mistaken twice? And now? Now Heidi shows it to us correctly. She brings her fashion show "Project Runway" to the TVs in the U.S. She sits next to Letterman and the other great talk show hosts relaxed on the show, allowing them to announce and celebrate her as "Heidi Kluuuum". Just as she was to be seen on the cover of LIFE magazine - the Mount Olympus of American periodicals. America loves our Heidi. And we love her also. Now. Written by Anette Utermark.

Heidi is on the cover of the October issue of German MAX magazine. There is also a long article written about her featured on their website: http://www.max.de/pop-kultur/people/klum. It's all in german, though. If there's a demand, I may take some time to translate it.

WEST CHESTER, Pa., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Supermodel, supermom and Project Runway host Heidi Klum's jewelry line struck a lucky chord on its September 14 QVC launch, with 14 of 16 styles in the debut collection completely selling out, ending the anticipated hour-long broadcast after only 36 minutes. Overall, more than 11,000 pieces were sold during the show. (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20060915/NYF071 ) The Heidi Klum Collection features beautifully versatile pieces crafted in sterling silver, 14K gold, and 18K gold-clad sterling. Klum's inspiration for the collection comes from the patterned floor of the Duomo in Milan, and the four-leaf clover symbol appears in necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings in a variety of different ways to suit every woman's taste. Favorites of the show included Klum's signature clover hoop earrings; a textured sterling cuff that she wore to the 2006 Emmy Awards; and a casual clover-leaf pendant on interchangeable silk cords. "I am ecstatic that the QVC customers responded so well to my collection," says Klum, creative visionary behind the new fashion jewelry line. "I hope the pieces are true good luck charms for the women who wear them." "The QVC customer is extremely discerning when it comes to jewelry," said Catherine Coquillard, vice president of QVC jewelry merchandising. "Not only were they impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into the pieces, they were thrilled to hear Heidi's story behind the collection. The strong sales speak volumes of how well the line was received, and we could not be happier to welcome Heidi Klum to our ever-growing stable of creative jewelry designers." While visiting QVC's world headquarters in West Chester, PA for the broadcast, Klum also made an appearance at the company's QLounge for a question-and-answer session with hundreds of QVC employees. The QLounge concept welcomes select new QVC guests and gives them the opportunity to chat with employees in a relaxed, informal setting. When asked why she chose to debut her collection on QVC, Klum stated, "Because everyone knows about QVC." The Heidi Klum Jewelry Collection is available through QVC at 800.345.1515 or http://www.qvc.com/ while supplies last.
