The bikini one has been posted before, but this is a single-picture version. The other is obviously VS; judging by the hairstyle and look, the same era as the 1990 VSC pics I posted above.

All other scans I've seen of this L.A. Style cover crop out her bust line on the bottom. Now why would you want to do that? She's mind-bogglingly beautiful. I'm sure newsstand sales of L.A. Style spiked that month. I know I bought it!

Does anyone know why Heather never seems to have done swimsuit, in VS, or elsewhere? Naively, I would have thought modeling bra and panties would be at least as figure-demanding as bikini, but perhaps there are things I don't know. Of course, I also wish that Niki Taylor had done lingerie. I suppose some people are never satisfied.

Is that other woman Gail Porter?

"Puzzling "is one word for it. "Infuriating" is another! That naturally voluptuous figure would have made her the perfect bridge between the core sports-fan readership of SI and the more refined tastes of fashion fans. Most of my other VS favs did make to SI: Daniela, Rebecca, Yasmeen, etc. Some other less orthodox choices I would have loved to see in SI include Jill Goodacre and Heather Stewart-Whyte. But Frederique would have been the queen. Alas! That's interesting information about VS signing Jill, Frederique, and Stephanie, in that order. They clearly wanted to upscale their brand, and they made three strong moves in the right direction!
