And again I am so impatiently waiting for news or hints where to look for pics - it's pathetic

Thanks Shayan! Looking at these pics I somehow abandon hope to see Jenny as a model. I know they are red carpet but her hips / waist look huge imo and also she simply looks like a nice girl but not really like a model. A pity. I would like her to go to Greece and try to get jobs. But perhaps it is not what she wants or can do and perhaps she already tried and the clients don't like her. That is what no model has control over.

I think it is her but an older pic from the time when she worked for Triumph. Edit: a new test pic in her portfolio:
  4. Thanks Zotti! Great info! No wonder the editorials are that good if you look at the magazines they are published in! And M---: I think the fact that the new agency is Greek and nearly every GNTM nowadays is listed in a Greek agency indicates that this success is probably originating from Pro7/Face your Brand/Klum GmbH.

It is only someone who looks at IMG doesn't notice that he or she is at IMG New York.... It is too early to say anything. I think the contract expires in May. Okay that will be soon. Without Payman at IMG it is difficult to say whether the contract will be renewed. I would think that yes, they will renew it but that is simply my opinion based on Fabi and Milan in general.
  6. Thanks for posting them Snuffy. Yes, it must be three different editorials and here she can show facets we haven't seen before. They are very good editorials, all of them.
  7. In Vanessa's portfolio are heaps of new pics. Among them is a least one editorial!

Thanks BarbaraFan: I love this pic!

Wonderful Shayan: I hope we have the final pics soon. They might be quite different from the one's in the stylist's blog!

I cannot even get into the Turkish one since this afternoon. With Model Management it doesn't look too good. I think you are right Zotti! Let's see what happens. Barbara should have no problem to find another agency , I think, if it should be necessary.

Thank you Red, thanks very much! It needs more people to be really effective (at least if they are pretty PC blind like me). And the date: He must have uploaded these pics immedeately after the shoot. So we probably find different and/or slightly altered pics in the Marie Claire. This is really great that you found this! And yes Reeyo or Shayan, tell us what is written below the first pic

Oh well, we take you gladly even without 'connections' And I haven't said it this time: WONDERFUL NEW SIG!
  14. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Half Turkish... that explains it, yes (And where are the Istanbul connections ) And wow, more than 3000 posts. And you are everything else but a spammer - very impressive
  15. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Wow Reeyo, I am impressed. I tried different words on Google, can't even decide what are names etc.

Back to looking for Barbara pics! Look what I found: Preview for Marie Claire April/09: http://www.mcdergi.com/index,[email protected] The photographer is Emre Uenal but I haven't yet found the pics on her homepage: http://blog.studioplusphoto.com/photographer/2/emre-unal

Let's hope that he likes Barbara, BarbaraFan. In this video he likes Victoria of the 'edgy' face. Barbara's face (and general type) is quite different from this type... Let's hope it is not only a GNTM thing but that he really likes her (and pushes her career).
  18. In her Place Models Portfolio are several new pics. She obviously has work to do! Vanessa is beautiful as always but I think she also always has the same expression: beautiful but the same. http://www.placemodels.com/models/view/1170

It doesn't belong in this thread: But my first impression is that Kotuglu prefered Victoria. And I like him. He seems to be very nice. I really hope he likes Barbara which would perhaps be a good start for New York too.

Thank you Snuffy! I post the update from Barbara's gallery here:

Again really good news from Barbara so I need to doublepost : 24.03.2009 | Dreharbeiten Am Wochenende wurde ich hier in Istanbul von einem ARD-Team einige Zeit begleitet. Translation: This weekend I was accompanied for a time by an ARD (television) team here in Istanbul. I have met a marvelous Austrian-Turkish designer and had a wonderful fashion shooting on sunday by an extraordinary German photographer! The date for broadcasting is not yet fixed but I will tell it here (on my homepage) as soon as it is decided upon. This is great and I hope we learn soon about the doku and the fashion shoot. I am really curious. There are many question marks as to designer, photographer and to the fashion shooting

Well sometimes I expect Lena to surprise me and have a huge success (I thought it quite possible in Greece and I was actually quite disappointed). And I have still not written it off somehow. Want to know how she does in USA. And I think the efforts of Pro7 Klum are good: they have to find a way without IMG to establish the winners abroad. All in all I think it is good but not yet 'huge:' want her to find some more fashion clients abroad. (and by the way: with Barbara I will start calling it huge if she gets jobs (pl) and clients in USA and / or London. And preferably big covers) @Reeyo: I also respect Lena for making this effort to push her career. She really seems to take slimming etc. seriously for her new castings as can be seen on these new red carpet pics.
  23. PlainJane replied to mila.tequila's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
@Reeyo:huge I don't know. In Greece she got a TV-Spot for a car and two catalogues. I think she spent only a month there of the intended two. In Amsterdam so far no clients. But still I think it could happen even though it looks as if the clients who go for Lena are not really in fashion. Still I think this effort these days to help her career on the way (Klum GmbH/ Face your Brand) just might be successful. Wait and see...

Ups, have been looking every day on FMD. Thanks Reeyo. Then this takes really time...
  25. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
This was Joy April 08 the pantene shoot with a winner of a pantene contest: win a shoot with Barbara Meier. @Reeyo: could you list the Hochzeit Cover (3/09) on FMD (actually I think all her covers should be uploaded there but I know you don't agree...) Listed it should be anyway as it is a 'real' magazine in comparison to Madonna and Tango... And in comparison to other covers of that type (Brigitte etc.) I think it is really not bad, rather good actually (good expression). They are all a bit boring, I think.
