But anyway that is just part of the 'making off' spot - or is this called differently - anyway the long 'launching of the spot' version. The actual spot is shorter and there I really love Barbara! And I think they knew the Collin's campaign and were inspired for Barbara's 'before using the mascara' part. The 'after using the mascara' part seems to be inspired by the Disneyland campaign - this hit me on watching it for the second time. Perhaps I am only getting fanciful but when I saw Barbara in this Western type of setting I immediately thought: 'Collins'. Only this time with an Indian touch. I love Barbara's face there. (And now I shut up but Barbara seems to inspire me, so sorry about all the blabla ....)

I am really happy about this spot, that Barbara got this job in a 'real' casting situation and in New York of all places! Thanks Snuffy for the wonderful screenshots. Barbara's charisma When someone is updating FMD as Juno asks (which would be nice) please do it correctly with the name of the mascara etc. as Maybelline has more exclusive mascara brands (and there I think the model who has the campaign is Julia Stegner) and I feel it is so bad if there is exaggerated and incorrect updating. Thanks Juno! I love Barbara in this show, her look, her walk, everthing! And in this show I don't mind at all that she is not as thin and tall and 'willowy' as the other models.

The designer obviously 'discovered' and likes Barbara as she is now and the fittings took place and obviously worked out. So let's hope the casting director as well accepts Barbara the way she is (and no dropping pounds)!

I have no idea Zotti.... All I know is that Barbara's career is always developing in an unusual and different way.... If she has this chance it is simply great! And after the way she looked for Kaviar Gauche I think everything is possible even if she doesn't fit a size 2 (no idea about that). But she said the fitting went well so we can hope the designer's wish prevails, can't we?

And more news:In der Zeit nach der Fashionweek, die dieses Jahr besonders erfolgreich für mich verlaufen ist, hatte ich einige Termine in München und konnte das mit ein bisschen freier Zeit in meiner Heimat verbinden. Dann ging es auch schon direkt weiter für 2 Tage nach Kapstadt für Fernseh- und Fotoaufnahmen und zurück nach Deutschland zur Verleihung der Goldenen Kamera, für die ich von Valentino ein traumhaft schönes Kleid bekam! TV and photoshooting in Kapstadt... Oh I wish we knew about all this outstanding work. The list is growing and growing. I am soo curious. And (a chance for?)Paris Fashionweek is simply great!

In the Red documentation (where they followed the GNTMs around Fashionweek) they showed that Jenny walked also for Patrick Mohr. She wore a white wig. Sadly she seems to have no self-confidence left any more.

Do you think the cover has been shot at the same time as the editorial? Or is it perhaps the cover shot later, she talked about in her news? I am unsure because of the styling which seems to be different (but I am not entirely sure)

Hey, it is advertising! They want a celebrity and not a model. Barbara looks good, she does a really good job and she earns a lot of money. Let's hope that her 'real' model career caries on as well this year as in the last. And with a fashion shooting in January (she talked about one in her news update) I really think 2010 will be as great a year for her as 2009 and I hope even better!

Thanks a lot for scanning! There is one small pic that reveals something: the new campaign is for Müller Milch (must be the one from Kapstadt). Oh well, it means a lot of money for Barbara. And I hope the big pic of Barbara as a vamp is from an editorial as it is really gorgeous. And I forgot (in the disapointment about Müller Milch: the news about Fashionweek is good and the news about a job in Hongkong is very, very good. I am really curious what that is about but it should be completey right for Barbara (Asia, I mean).
