Good news! (Christina is listed there as well).

Really like those Rathnow pics of Hana!

A thought: I hope Barbara didn't mix up Julia Saller and Anja Frers and the Deichmann pic is what we were waiting for ( came to me because of Oliver Rauh art production) And a second thing: I want portfolio updates! Now Barbara has a new cover of a real mag and it should be in her portfolios. Don't know... with Munich Models they put in practically every pic the model has shot and with Barbara lots of very good editorials never appear. I want action at least with Major Models (IMG would be nice too if only to show that there is still a booker out there who at least follows her career).

Thank you Zotti! The original pics are even more beautiful, I think. This is one of my favorite Barbara editorials, so beautiful!

Dani in the Barbara Fan Forum said the photographer for this Deichmann pic is Anja Frers and the stylist or art director is Oliver Rau That means the Saller shoot is something different (I am hoping for an editorial, yesss)

This is really hard. (Thanks Enia for the pic!) I look at it the first time and think maybe not. I look at it longer and I feel pretty sure... This really is a hard one!

I think it must be Barbara! Does someone know how to capture these pics?

The dresses in Sposabella win for me but as editorial Hochzeit is very good for Barbara because it is really 'her' editorial and couldn't be anybody elses. But the way her body looks in Sposabella is sooo impressive and I wouldn't want to miss that for the world! What I think is important and what they also stress in this comment: Barbara delivers what the clients wants and that is important in this job. So she delivered modern and elegant for Sposabella and romantic, young, innocent, dreamy for Hochzeit. And she did that not only with her face but with her whole posing. Yes, I heared about Peyman and I really hope Barbara has a booker who cares and that she has enough connections now to get jobs on her own. (This explains a lot about Jenny's lack of career).

Thanks CarMELita! And LittleDesaster! But don't you think that this is one of the great Barbara Editorials? I think that she looks gorgeous in this editorial! Her facial expression, the mood of each pic is different. In my opinion she did a wonderful job.

Thanks Reeyo. This facial shoot of Barbara is one great pic. (In an otherwise really unspectacular shoot)

Thanks Reeyo. I miss page 14 the face shot of Barbara! Can you get that too?

The Colin's catalogue is online. It is PDF so I cannot get the pics. What a pity wanted to prove my newfound ability to upload pictures http://www.colinsjeans.com/Colins_2009_ilkbaharYaz.pdf The first pic I really love is on page 14! (On the whole I am disapointed: some of the 'making of' pics were more to my taste than what they choose for the catalogue).

Reeyo, we have at least 5 catalogues from the last two weeks. There would be room for both. I still cannot believe this kind of success... And Mme Figaro and an editorial for Marie Claire, wailting for Kai Stuht editorial, the Saller shooting. And Hochzeit cover and editorial as a bonus we never even knew about: Seems pretty incredible to me...
  14. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Ha! It is Indeed it is, cannot believe my eyes And thanks for translating, Reeyo of the many talents! Oh, and I wondered: Is it possible that Barbara is in the catalogues for spring / summer? After 'looking' at this article I wondered about that. But that would be really late....
  15. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Likely it was a very small show. If it is this from the foto then it was probably the show for a collection. (The other woman mentioned in the article Anna Wessolowski is a model too). But that doesn't change at all that this is very, very good for Barbara: these clients, designers like her. And about Colin's: I mean Colin's is not Versace or such. It is relatively low priced and therefore the campaign cannot be like let's say highfashion or 'exclusiv' like e.g. Fabi: The ads are definitely not aimed at Vogue and such but for young (and not so well-healed) people. For that category I quite like what we have seen so far but naturally I hope for a few let's say flashier ads. @Zotti: the catalogue shooting in Paris today seems to be one of the examples of jobs without castings!

The way she formulated it I feel sure she walked. Angie BMF Forum found a Turkish article, maybe with that fashion show (pic of Barbara and she is mentioned in the text): Thank you Angie! http://www.hurriyet.com.tr/ankara/11069544.asp?gid=140 Perhaps someone speaks, understands Turkish? Then we would in all probability know about one catalogue.

I found five pics in her portfolio at Munich Models that I don't know and quite like (result of Greece?): Edit: It is an old shooting (07) from Pandalis. Hope it is no double post.

Hey CarMELita it is definitely easy to get it. At the station here the Magazine was displayed extra in the aisle, three copies one beside each other, and not just among the Bridal magazines. I think they know about the fans and the possibility of sales ... Barbara News: the second week in Istanbul, wow, wow, wow... Pyjama shooting, diverse catalogue shootings, a fashionshow in Ankara aaand Tomorow I'll take the plane to Paris where I was booked for a catalogue shooting. Are these news or what

I think it is the same as with IMG: Barbara has a portfolio in Milan but her management (Peyman) is in Paris. I read in the magazine 'Hochzeit' that Barbara has a personal agent / booker named Sandra all to herself with Major Model Management Munich. That means she is listed in New York but her management is in Munich. It certainly has nothing to do with commercial vs. highfashion etc. If we are lucky the Turkish pics (I hope so) will be added to her portfolio: it won't otherwise be easy to get the pics.

They exchanged two pics from two editorials (Joy and IN each) And I think they took some more out. Perhaps this time it is in preparation for a bigger exchange...

After seeing the original I changed my mind about the inferiority of a bridal editorial and cover: the pics are firstclass and Barbara is simply perfect in them. I hope someone will scan them and I dearly hope some of them are included in preferably several of her portfolios! And Snuffy: It is a different type and quite good cover for Barbara but I aggree: the editorial is really special the cover is dull in comparison. But Barbara has a great expression as always.
  22. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Yeah, thanks a lot M--- A bridal ed is better than no ed And a cover is good anyway even if it is no 'big' cover!
  23. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Personally I can't see what Barbara could have done better: I think she has great expression in these. The rest is of course a question of taste. But to say she didn't do a good job, there I cannot aggree at all. Oh well I hope we see the ads soon!
  24. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Wow, indeed: how did Wolfgang do that? And I also like the second pic: quite a different 'face' of Barbara.
  25. PlainJane replied to Ronin's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
Colin's is no editorial shayan and unluckily it is too early for Mme Figaro and Marie Claire. But maybe you find ads for Colin's. That would be great!!! And it is great that we can now start to look seriously for Colin's. These first pic's do not really tell anything about the final campaign... But a good start anyway. I am curious about 'clearer' pics and what they'll use for ads. Thanks a lot Enia!
