Was it ahpe who said she will try never to be impatient again: om. Well I think so all the time and then I practically start dancing with impatience And now with all the things pending I get more and more curious and more and more impatient. A nice editorial as a distraction would be welcome. Some projects would be nice also. And by the way: I like that Barbara has her own style and that she quite obvious has color and style favorites (it helps that I share the penchant for turquoise I suppose). She has to feel good. She is special and that is good, I think.

Gosh, I am happy and relieved (Zotti thank you, I nearly had a heart attack after your depressing thoughts concerning GNTM etc. winners and then that shock): I couldn't believe my eyes when I didn't find the portfolio! No idea whether that is good or bad.... Perhaps they move it after she was in London and got jobs there...

Thank you Zotti! It is a shame about her fans... (I think it is not fair to her but unluckily I am PC illiterate and cannot do anything aaand I am first of all a 'die hard' Barbara fan).

And I read in the Alice FS thread: some people just think fashion is fickle which is a far more likely explanation after her vogue cover and after e.g. D&G (campaign?). I am impressed - didn't follow her career - but not astonished: after all she is tall, skinny, special looking . I don't think we have to worry about Barbara! That is the good thing e.g. about the New York agency: They make it obvious where she comes from. It is better to be open about that. And her career so far is really 'individual' I say, lacking for a better word. It is not a normal model carreer and I think that is for the best. Barbara has more success with time which is also good, she has found many clients and photographers who want to work with her. I don't think we have to worry. She has found her niche, I think.

Thanks Reeyo! And thanks Zotti for finding the Lambertz pics!!! And Lambertz I find disappointing so far too. But that is also because they choose to work partly with celebrities instead of models and then the outcome is bound to be disappointing. By the way, I start to get impatient and mega curious about the LA editorial.... Where, What, When??? Gosh, there are so many news, pics etc. from Barbara (we Barbara fans are extremely lucky) and still I am impatiently waiting for more, can never get enough... And what will happen with London, New York etc. ??? Questions, questions, questions...

It isn't only this wild hairstyle which I think is beautiful by the way. It is a new kind of presence and self-confidence, happiness... (I think very positve thoughts concerning her career). In these pics she really overshadows the other two!

Isn't this pic from last year Tribute to Bambi? Barbara's hair is longer and I seem to remember this dress. Edit: Found the pic at Ghetty: It is Tribute to Bambi november 07. Really nice dress, I think!

I understood that there is only one agency per city. Isn't it like that? (I found Lily Cole only at IMG New York but not London wich seemed to prove the point).

The leading pic in Paris is one of my favorite Barbara pics but I also would have prefered the color version. I really like her Paris portfolio now. It is really beautiful. The London one is small but imo quite beautiful. With Milan I am also unhappy. I don't understand either why they don't use pics from Barbara's great Italian adds or eds. @CarMELita, I think it is quite good that she has another New York agency for a start. It is small and I think they will do more for her which will be better.

Whichever way it is: Let's hope that now she gets a lot of jobs. Jennifer has the potential to be a really great model!

She isn't listed there. Edit: Ups. I didn't find her there... Now I have more success. And I aggree: What does this mean except more and better pics?

Thank you Zotti! Very strange selection for Barbara, very positive one e.g. for Wanda (must be the only really impressive pics she has so far). I sense bias but that will not stop Barbara!

IMG London This was (again) a tremendously successful year for Barbara and I dearly hope she can build on all this after all the charity stuff etc. (also very important, I think) of December. 18 months after winning GNTM she has three IMG listings and a New York Agency! I am so curious about what will come next (and not to forget the editorial shoot in Los Angeles, the final Colin's campaign etc.). And I am so totally impressed by the new work so far as we have seen it: the video, Sposabella, the making of Colin's... And I believe Barbara and London are made for each other.... (Hopefully I am right).

I am soooo impressed. She looks wonderful, has a really impressive presence. I have never seen her looking so good at an event (aside from dresses, styling). I have never seen her before as she appears in these interviews: absolutely true to herself, self-confident and knockdown gorgeous. Can't wait for the pics from LA!!!
