I don't know? Maybe Eword knows? daria has always been very private about that issue. what i more or less know is that there have been various kinds of rumours in internet and that last winter she referred to a boyfriend in a couple of interviews.

It's from Marc Jacobs, but I think the clothes are not designed by him, I mean that these photos were taken probably BEFORE show during rehearsal(?) exactly. those pics are from a reharsal of fwo6 shows. marc by marc to be more precise. and theirs are her own clothes. those latex pics - certainly not my fave editorial... - are from vogue italy august 03 by meisel. if you want to know more about 'old' eds and ads - i mean: 2003 & 2004 - go to the simply daria site at geocities, it's the most complete and accurated site on daria's early activity as international model.

i found that pic in a brazilian site last january or february through another brazilian blog. the pic was taken in brasil, maybe in rio, when she was there doing lancome. btw, i'm sure i posted this image below already but is there anyone here from brazil who has this interview?

she never has been in ukrainian? in a russian interview last december she said not yet. she's been back to poland with her family after shooting the lancome video in praga in 2005, if i'm not mistaken. (and to those who don't see the connection between daria and politics/history i suggest they should see a video from lagerferl gallery fw06 backstage where she's talking about her fave subjects with karl)

svetlyak, i think you assume too much knowledge from your mates... anyway, i read somewhere that daria was born in poland because her (ukranian) father was in the sovietic army there...

daria was born on the 19th of november 1983.

despite loving my strong old european roots, i must say i have a lot of admiration for canada and its open society. for instance it's one of the few country where gay marriage is allowed. i can't say there's much tolerance about this subject in the east of europe... *cough cough* and i think united states have many cultural interesting and important aspects too (which unfortunately tend to be overwhelmed by other sick things...). anyway, coming to daria, i think she took the best from new and old world, that's why she's so refined and classy. about that interview, i don't remember exactly if it's the one in vogue russia from late autumn-winter 2005-06. i should have collected at the lab.

i think b/c thier family bacame too northamerican that isn't true at all. her family is rather acculturated, her mum also taught ukranian, she went to an ukranian school and she's fluent both in polish and ukranian. and then you just have to read or listent to an interview of hers to understand that she has strong european roots.
