Brad Pitt - It’s All About “Getting Home To Family” Brad Pitt is currently promoting his new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. While the film is attracting lots of buzz, Brad seems to have one thing on his mind: his family with Angelina Jolie. Brad recently sat down with Rolling Stone magazine to discuss his new film, and of course, his family of eight. On getting help from his kids to use his iPod: “I normally need my kids to do this. They’re so beyond me in technology, it’s hard to keep up. Our seven-year-old was searching the word ‘weapons’ on Google the other day and ended up on some white-supremacist site. I’m sure now we’re on all kinds of watch lists.” On his hopes for the future: “I have this fantasy of my older days, painting or sculpting or making things. I have this fantasy of a bike trip to Chile. I have this fantasy of flying into Morocco. But right now, more and more, it’s about getting the work done and getting home to family. I have an adventure every morning, getting up.” On if he went to church every Sunday as a child: “Yeah. And it was too much of what you shouldn’t be doing instead of what you could be doing. I get enraged when people start telling other people how to live their lives. It drives me mental. This Prop. 8 thing just drives me mental.” On where he was on election night: “Chicago. I went down to Grant Park, because I was doing Oprah the next day. I walked home from the park to the hotel, which was a half-hour walk. And I could walk freely — no one was interested in me at that point. People were weeping and hugging. The sense of elation in the streets — it was great. That was such a turnaround for us. We captured the original definition of America again.” On if Fight Club would have been made after September 11th: “No. Certainly not that ending. We debated it then. There’s a line we stuck in, about the buildings being evacuated.” On how some critics just didn’t get that film: “Did you see the DVD that Fincher put out? He put all the negative reviews in the booklet. Some London critic said, “Not only is it anti-capitalistic, but it’s anti-society and anti-God.” We were like, “We didn’t realize it was that good!” On how Benjamin Button feels very positive, but some people might walk away from the story feeling very bleak: “Yeah, I think it’s open to . . . it’s your choice. I find Benjamin is about those universal things we all share — that 95 percent that makes us all the same, wherever we are in the world. Our loves, our hopes, but also the loss that we all walk around with and hide very well, and the ultimate notion that we’re all expendable. To me, it’s a counterstatement to this divisive period we’ve been in, where we focused on the two, three, four, five percent of ways in which we’re different.”
Angelina Jolie: Honored By Golden Globe Nomination Angelina Jolie was just nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in the Clint Eastwood-directed film The Changeling. Jolie told ET, “I am honored to be nominated by the Hollywood Foreign Press in a category with so many extraordinary women. What an amazing experience, having the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood on a film I care so deeply about.” The 33-year-old actress is up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Meryl Streep (Doubt), Kristin Scott Thomas (I’ve Loved You So Long) and Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road). UPDATE: Brad Pitt was nominated for Best Actor his title role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. His reaction statement: “I am pleased to be nominated for this award and would like to also congratulate David, Eric and Alexandre on their nominations. I am so happy that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are both nominated for Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards. I can't wait to see what Angelina wears!!!

Jennifer Aniston On Angelina Jolie: ‘No Daggers Through The Heart’ Jennifer Aniston isn’t done talking about Angelina Jolie. In a new interview with GQ – one which finds Jennifer in nothing but a necktie on the magazine’s cover – the star of the Christmas-due film, “Marley & Me,” once again tackled questions about her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s partner, Angelina. And Jennifer’s got even more revealing than last month’s Vogue feature, which found her calling Angelina’s year-old remarks about working with Brad on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” “really uncool.” For starters, Jennifer called stories related to herself, Brad and Angelina the “insane Bermuda Triangle.” And later, she admitted she does not speak to Angelina. “No. Nuh-uh,” she told GQ, who asked if the two actresses talk. Jennifer hinted that future conversations might be a bridge the two won’t be crossing any time soon either. When GQ writer Mark Kirby asked Jennifer about Angelina’s October 2008 comments in the New York Times, where the “Changeling” star said she is eager to show her kids “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” because that was the movie “where their parents fell in love,” Jennifer took some time to answer. After all, Brad was still married to Jennifer while filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” “Well, you know, that was definitely a confirmation for me of something that wasn’t quite confirmed at the time,” Jennifer told the GQ scribe. “But listen… You sit there and you… No. No daggers through the heart. I laugh. Am I surprised? Well, how do I say this?… Considering the source, nothing surprises me.” While she has no relationship with Angelina, Jennifer said she still – on special occasions – speaks to Brad. “We don’t not talk. When there’s something to congratulate or celebrate, there’s always an exchange,” she said. “But there’s no charge on it.” And they even go away together – Jennifer joked. “The funny thing is that people don’t realize we all go away to the Hamptons on the weekends,” Jennifer said completely tongue-in-cheek. “Can you imagine?” she continued. “That’d be hysterical: I’ve got Zahara on my hip, and Knox…” While she may joke about spending time with her ex and his family, Jennifer grew serious when GQ asked about her relationship with “Gravity” singer John Mayer. “We care deeply for each other,” Jennifer told the mag. “And we’re just trying to figure it out.” But as yet, she is not expecting a little Aniston-Mayer. “I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question,” she added.

Angelina Jolie: 'Our Kids Love New Orleans' Angelina Jolie has revealed why she and partner Brad Pitt can never leave New Orleans - their children love the local cuisine. The Hollywood superstar is in New Orleans with her six children for the premiere of Brad's new movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. And Angelina says that even though they have houses across the world it is New Orleans where they feel most at home. Her kids are especially keen on Verti Marte - a diner in the city's French Quarter. Jolie says, "Our kids love it here. They love the school and their friends here and most of all they love Verti Marte. "Their favourite thing to do is go down there. But for all of us, we just come here and feel at home.
