I hope she stays with Hunkemöller for many more years because it's getting bigger wordwide & growing fast --------- (article from march 2019) Hunkemöller posted a turnover of 603 million euros in the past financial year. That is 10.5% more than a year earlier, reports the German trade journal TextilWirtschaft. Online revenue increased by around 40% to 109 million euros in the twelve months to the end of January. E-commerce now accounts for eighteen percent of the total turnover. CEO Philip Mountford expects comparable growth figures for this year. The turnover that Hunkemöller communicates is considerably higher than in its annual accounts. A previous financial year there was a turnover of "only" 452.4 million euros. The Dutch lingerie chain says itself to have been good in 2017/18 for 546 million euros. Hunkemöller currently has 916 stores worldwide. Up to the end of 2021, a hundred stores must be added annually. June 1 opens the first store in China, where the first twelve stores are already planned. Mountford eventually sees room for around 440 stores. In addition, 60 stores will be added in Scandinavia and 200 existing stores will be modernized in the coming three years.
