Marilyn is a legend because she's famous in many many countries and by old ,and young people....she is a legend because many people are inspired by her, Now we don't care to know why she is a legend if it's because she was nice or dirty... legend it's the result of something good or bad..morevoer we can't compare Marilyn to Anne Frank, they are both legends but not in the same category....Marilyn is a cinema legend, an icon, Anne was an historical legend for different reasons... and Madonna? maybe she will be a legend, we will see that in 50 years ...but for the moment there are more people who knows Marilyn than Madonna.... and princess diana became a legend because she is dead in sad circumstance.... Marilyn is a legend for her category we can't compare political and artistic category and sorry if people wants just inspire her fashion look...I don't see the problem...some people inspire by Jackie Kennedy fashion style and she hasn't an exemplary life too...really I don't see the problem
