“Trust” is set to be a reunion for Haynes and Winslet who previously worked on HBO’s “Mildred Pierce,” the memorable 2011 miniseries based on James M. Cain’s 1941 novel. Raymond also co-wrote that project with Haynes. Coming off last year’s “May December,” Haynes is also supposed to shoot a film noir, starring Joaquin Phoenix, in late July. Raymond, again him, co-wrote the script for that still untitled film which is set in 1930s L.A. and Mexico. It’s been described by Haynes as a “button pusher” that could warrant an NC-17 rating.
