Though this photo shoot took place about 35 years ago, to my knowledge, the image on the left was published only a year or two ago. One can only dream of the vast wealth of stunning Christy images that only exist tucked away in various photographers' drawers and cabinets. Just imagine!

This is my attempt to photoshop combine these two familiar images into one more complete image.

Which one do you prefer? If I were an archivist, I suppose I'd prefer the image on the left. I think many here might prefer the image on the left. That's the original image and therefore it is the authentic image. But me, I only care about Christy. I don't care about the magazine, or whatever Christy has been hired to sell. I don't care about "The Princess of Wales" or "Warhol's Animal Crackers." I have no attachment to logos or barcodes. I just want the picture of Christy, free of filigree and irrelevant distractions. So, I go to any length to remove all that "crap" because I hate it and I want it gone from the picture.
