Wow, what a treasure trove of great Christy scans, thanks!! I don't know, perhaps they flip the image to make it look like they're presenting a new image? So here it is flipped over correctly and with all the filigree removed (this cover was murder to do, and it still needs work)

In my opinion, no other model of the period retained supreme beauty equal to Christy. They may well have looked very, very good at age 44, but I think only Christy was still a world-class super-beauty at age 44. But then, Christy was more beautiful to begin with. Thanks Vogue Girl!
