It has been very very very quiet these last few weeks as far as Barbara's modelling career is concerned ...no new exciting news and no new contracts signed and for the past entire week she was back home in Budapest,Hungary doing nothing ....I am one of her biggest fans but even I have to admit that without Big Brand/ Big Money fashion contracts such as Armani Exchange and Victoria's Secret, Barbara's modelling career is in serious danger .... With her petite built , height and problem knee Barbara can never be a High fashion catwalk model either...this is why we haven't seen her walking the ramp for several years...her fortune comes from heavy duty contracts for commercial brands but now without VS and A/X even that is in danger....her only saving grace is L'Oreal and Thank God they are promoting her massively acorss the board...Lots and lots of print and video campaigns that should be released within the next couple of months....representing them at The Golden Globes this year and now according to L'Oreal Paris-Australia's Twitter page thanks to all her fans sending multiple tweets asking about her involvement have replied that she will be attending multiple events as the L'Oréal Global Brand Ambassador at The L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival 18-20 March 2013..... This is BIG news ...I hope they heavily promote her while she is there and then there is the L'Oréal sponsored Cannes Film Festival in May and the upcoming fashion editorial with Terry Richardson.....After all she did spend four days shooting with him in his studio in New York and I really hope something spectacular and mind blowing comes out of that collaboration...something better than some random pic of her chugging ketchup and modelling silly cookie eyes and features in some prestigious fashion magazine .... I still think with her face and figure she is more suited for movies than modelling ....Models need to have unique unusual features and extremely tall thin figures with less curves ...but with her angelic face and curvy body she has tremendous mass appeal and can reach a bigger audience....I really hope she gives movies some serious consideration and moves to London or N.Y/L.A and enroll in a good drama/acting school....with proper dialect lessons and experience I think she could be a very very good actress !!!!

Really....I really really wanted Barbara to be THE FACE of Estee Lauder or Lancome....Their fragrance ad campaigns are so incredibly beautiful and utterly romantic .....I can totally see her in commercials for Estee Lauder's Pleasures or Tresor or Miracle by Lancome .....The ads make Constance Jablonski ,Gwyneth ,Inés Sastre,Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger ,Uma and Emma Watson look so so so good !!!

Hmm...I don't know ...I think basically the majority of models want to become actresses at some part of their career...there is even a term in the industry for that...."model turned actress" .....in fact according to the trivia section for Transformers :Dark of the Moon (2011) IMDB Rosie wasn't the ONLY VS model who was attached.....Miranda Kerr also wanted to be a part of the film....TPTB just happened to pick Rosie over Miranda....besides Barbara's language skills are not perfectly polished at this point and she will need time to get familair with the craft( lots and lots of acting lessons and diction classes )....she will be ready in a few years but right now I think her primary focus is her modelling career ....I think she really wants to be an actress but understands it is not realistic at the moment... Megan Fox dropped out shortly before filming began, Gemma Arterton, Ashley Greene, Brooklyn Decker, Miranda Kerr, Bar Refaeli, Amber Heard, Camilla Belle, Katie Cassidy, Heidi Montag and Anna Kendrick were all rumored to replace her before Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was cast.
