That happens at times, at least Inter didn't let a 3-0 lead slip in 6 minutes in the CL Final But they are going to have play better against Bayern Milan didn't play very good either, there entire defence is injured, and Sedorff and Ancelotti got into a side line bust up <_< It wasn't a very good weekend for Milan

It's the way Rafa likes it Bellamy switches between the wings as the ball, or Kuijt drops back to play link-up or Crouch comes back to be the target man. Even Fowler has been dragged down the field to become second striker Bellamy has no problem with dropping deeper, but the others don't have the pace to be effective when they drop deep and move into the box. I agrree SS You need to have someone that can finish when it is such a close game I believe that will do in Liverpool this year

Same here. We create about 15 chances per game, but we never put any in. If we can learn to be clinical we can demolish teams. And our defence still isn't really strong. I'd be tempted to go the other way and say that it was very weak. I watched the Newcastle game and although we dominated for the first half, we did nothing to deserve such a flattering scoreline. See you on Wednesday Is Cara still out injured?

Kaka, Gourcoff and Pirlo You should've snapped up Gallas! :persuazn: He would've been a great addition to your squad. I rate him as one of the best defenders in the world I wished Milan would have got Gallas too And Liverpool should have went after Trezeguet If I were Milan I'd go after Mexes, cause I think he's the best defender in Serie A (after a healthy Nesta and Maldini)

So why not play him in a more advanced position? He's a good playmaker in his own right up the field. The only problem being that he'd be afforded less space and time. Wait, Trappatoni tried that in EURO2004 right? I don't remember how that worked out though.. He played kinda the same position he does for Milan in EURO 04 I believe he played the more advanced midfield position with Inter and Brescia, but it didn't work out that well for him, plus at Milan you have Kaka there. Ancelotti likes him deeper so he can spray his passes around. Pirlo was actually very good last game, with Kaka, Pirlo, Inzaghi, and Gourcoff all in form Milan should not have a problem scoring this year It's there defending that scares me a bit, especially with Nesta and Kaladze still injured

The only defence Pirlo knows is how to tug on shirts <_< But I did see him try to attempt a slide tackle last year well he's not THAT bad. I mean sure he's a bit lazy at times but he still does an alright job. At least he attempts to channel players on the ball away from the centre of the park, where Gattuso can then hassle them while he covers. Does he intentionally do that or am I just reading too much into the play whenever I watch him? Positionally he's alright, he'll put him self in front of a player but that's about it He'll very rarely win the ball off a player, unless Gattuso come in there and helps him

If Alonso wasn't playing for Liverpool I'd change my mind too but I think the reasons I gave would make me lean a bit more towards Alonso. I love the deep-lying playmaker position Anyone that plays there well is automatically on my good books. Pirlo, Alonso and Carrick. I'm also watching out for Maduro and Gago. There were a few other youngsters but I forgot their names I haven't been able to see a Man U game yet this year, but I'm very curious to see how Carrick is playing for them. I've never heard of Maduro and Gago, who do they play for?

hmmm... It'd have to be Alonso for his defensive capabilities. He's got more fight in him :lullaby: and at the moment he's doing really well supporting the defense and the attack. He strikes the ball well, but he needs to work on his free kicks. I love Pirlo as well though and his freekicks and ability to manipulate the ball are just mind-blowing. Too bad he's not the best at defense I always change my mind on this one, one day I say Pirlo, the next I say Alonso

Unbeaten! Out of the six league games so far, we've drawn five and won two. Which despite being pretty poor, still puts us into third place. Our last game was against Besiktas, the Istanbul derby, which we won 1-0! :hell yea!: So...things are looking decent. Our next fixture is very tough, and we'll be missing a few players. But hopefully we'll have enough firepower left for next week, so as not to get completely destroyed by Liverpool! That's not bad Who is in first? Is the first game in Liverpool or Istanbul?
