After looking back at all the pics, there were a lot of really terrible outfits. BUT, I feel like this is the first time in a few years at least that the really good outfits weren’t just good because they were better than the bad ones. They’re actually really beautiful looks. And lots of pretty wings too. Overall, I think I’m pretty happy with the turnout but I hold final reservations until we see it air. I get better vibes from this show than last year’s though.

Unless VS is ready to shell out some serious dough they don’t have, there’s no way either of these girls would accept an Angel contract- their management wouldn’t let them. Kendall makes more money from a single sponsored Instagram post than what an entire Angel contract is worth these days. i also don’t see VS feeling the need to offer them sh*t. Why would they give contracts to them when they get all the publicity they need from them for casting them in the show?

Is he salty, or is he just right? I, for one, had never heard of ThirdLove until reading this article yesterday and I actually checked it out because of it. So he’s certainly not wrong in that it’s great press for them as a brand. Also, like many former employees of the brand shared in all the recent think pieces about VS and the the VSFS’s place in 2018, this brand and the show are being run by a bunch of people with deeply outdated, borderline misogynistic views of women, fantasy, sexiness, etc. you don’t even need to have worked for VS to see that. Their blatant refusal to change with the times is all the proof you need. Though I’m sure Ed loved the article, it really is absolutely terrible and reflects on him and the company in a really negative way. He came across as so arrogant and uneducated about, well, everything. Had this article gone viral and certain pull quotes been highlighted, they’d be in some hot water. And it’s not too late for any of that to happen. VS is in trouble and we all know that. We’ve all talked about it extensively. I don’t think this ThirdLove guy is far off in his post even if there’s a little salt in it.

Did Barbara have two looks? I’ve only seen the leggings one

I was not a fan of the makeup at first, but it looks really flattering on everyone. The black robes, however, are tacky af. And that interview with Ed and Monica is nauseating. He is so delusional, it’d be sad if he also was soooo arrogant.

If we’re still talking about Elsa, I recall her Cannes looks also being styled by Elizabeth.

Elsa’s outfits define what it means to be overly styled in my opinion. None of them seem remotely genuine, she tries too hard to make every outfit A Look and just looks way too overdone instead. Which of course is more of the fault of her stylist, Elizabeth, than her own fault. But I see no personality in Elsa’s outfits, they don’t even seem like a collaboration between star and stylist. It’s like Elizabeth dresses her up like Elsa’s her Barbie doll.

I think it’s really harsh and aggressive to call Behati ugly, but I will agree that I’ve never understood her appeal. She’s very uninteresting, looks-wise. She doesn’t have any standout features, she’s just... bland.

I’m not say that she does, my point is that just by looking at her you can’t say with any certainty what makes her look the way she does. You don’t know anything about her body other what she chooses to show you on social media which frankly, doesn’t mean sh*t

I think it’s a little difficult to determine whether her size and look are the result of working to look that way or genetics. For all we know she could very have some type of thyroid issue that keeps her small without her necessarily working to be that way. Everything about this is so weird and leaves me with so many questions. What does this say about the brands actual contracted Angels? Can they no longer rely on just them and the other 50+ girls that walk to show to bring the attention they want? Why not have their contracted Angels dress as old school Angels for Halloween with staged paparazzi photos that they could sell exclusively to Daily Mail the same way they did with the KJs?

Kim seemingly just changed the tweet and included “& Kendall got good practice lol” Sounds as though she’s confirming her at this year’s show. She also stated VS sent them the wings to. I have to agree with whoever said it above that this seems like a PR move (albeit, an odd one) from VS.

Kim just thanked Victoria’s Secret in Twitter for sending them “actual runway looks” for those Halloween photos, so it seems they were lent look from VS and didn’t have them remade

Idk if this was already talked about, but Good Morning America tweeted that Jasmine and Martha will be on tomorrow making a “big announcement you won’t want to miss.” Possible FB tease?

+1 Some months ago I saw her in Miami while shopping and I was shocked by how stunning she is in person since I’ve always found her to be soooo drab in photos. But her demeanor then and what she’s displayed on that wretched model squad show just tells me she sucks as a person

I don’t care who wears the FB, I just want to see what it looks like. Lais’ was so beyond gorgeous, I can’t imagine them topping that this year, but I hope they find a way to or at least give us something just as beautiful

The more I see from VS, the more I’m convinced that their entire team is completely clueless as to what women actually want. The only people I could picture wearing this stuff are my teenage sisters.
