I kinda land in the middle with Barbs/plus size. (sorry if this has been over-discussed!)
TLDR - I agree she's probably 'plus-size' by industry standard but I still don't think of her as VS's first 'plus sized angel'... as I think the title 'plus-size model' has been made to mean a whole other thing that just size/figure. (dumb semantics I know)
I've been lectured/shown enough real-life comparison photos by one of BP's more dedicated anti-stans and I understand in real life she is slim/tiny/in no way 'plus'. (I also get 'plus' is an industry-determined standard and doesn't align with what we think is plus etc etc etc.) But looking at her VS shoots last year she's pretty clearly a different body type to the rest of the Angels/the industry. You could put them side by side with Lorena D's photo shoots & she looked equally/sometimes more 'fuller figured' even if we know she isn't in reality. (I understand that she's lost weight this year since though so this no longer applies.) So I agree with her being considered "plus-size:.
But I still don't really consider her a 'plus size model' as a title? I get she's a model & she's probably plus-size now or w/e but I think the separation in the industry between model & plus size model is so strongly delineated that being titled a 'plus size model' is a whole other thing for your career/experiences. I don't think BP fits that criteria entirely (maybe because she wasn't at the outset of her career or when her career really took off etc idk.) Like toodarnhot said she's just never been promoted in that way while other Plus-size models are always primarily identified this way. (I don't encourage this delinieation btw - I love what prettyphile posted above about removing the plus!)
I think for me Lorena D is first/foremost a 'plus size model' and when VS engaged with her they probably did so for that reason. (not to discredit her work and how well she's doing.) I think when VS took BP back on board they did it primarily because she's 'Barbara Palvin' and whatever associated benefits that brings. She just so happened to also be (or not be idc) 'plus size' at the time. Like when they shot with Winnie Harlow I don't think they were thinking of vitiligo representation I think they were just going for 'Winnie Harlow' haha. -

Garth & Sophia flew to NY beginning of April for a VS meeting. She phrased it as "the next VS adventure" (or something similiar) though so it's up in the air about outfits I guess... ?

Is there any chance Barb was supposed to be announced same time as Alexina? They were shooting together that day & alot of their promo has seemed to group them. I heard from a few people it was kinda leaked by her agency or something so did VS maybe just go with the moving train kinda thing the first Thursday?
(Just wondering if that's a possibility...?)

Probably! Although it seems they just bulk reported all my posts including photos. And if they're going up against copyright I'm hardlyyy the account to go for haha. A couple of us think it came from the paparazzi guy who took up skirt photos of Martha and had a cry about it haha. I made the story calling him out & he creepily started following accounts who had reposted my story (but couldn't do me as I had him blocked...)
Anyway I'm probably getting off topic from the thread & doesnt matter much now anyway haha
I did like the outfits alot more this year so that's a plus
And I loved seeing them push the newer Angels like Jas/Lais/Tay/Elsa a bit more. Although I think it's all inevitably a bit too little too late which I'm a bit sad about...

My email for the account is now slowly filling up with IG copyright claims from VS for the 2018 show videos. But the same person reporting me is also saying they have copyright over audience camera footage so I don't know...

Yeah that's partly/(probs mostly) my fault. I don't know if I started it but I definitely posted about it. Someone suggested it to me for a reason as to why Sara didn't get anything & I thought it was interesting and could be possible. (Which obviously as I now know it wasn't) Comments & DMs were pretty quickly turning into hate toward VS for Sara being the only one not opening or closing - so my re-posting that theory to stories had very little to do with Adri and alot more to do with trying to suggest to my followers not to jump to the conclusion that VS "hates sara & everything is unfair" etc etc and that maybe something we didn't know happened in the background. Which apparently obviously came off more as crazy stan projection or whatever...

That's what a PR agent does. DUH. Or do you really think anyone on Adriana's camp (not to mention Adriana herself) would say: "YES, I was referring to VS"? You don't do this in the entertainment industry in order to avoid the label "difficult to work with". The only thing one can resort to is subtle shade. Adriana's rep might say that she wasn't referring to VS but I still find it suspicious that she unfollowed Ed and some of the Angels on IG after that post. Adriana was a huge contribution to the success of VS but she already hit her prime and it would be much more graceful to leave on top (I think she should have left in 2013 at the latest) as supposed to holding on for dear life. We'll see what happens after the show.
I thought she was talking about Love advent calendar...? Like it was right at that time and they were getting more attention than last year's show tbh...
It fit more in the context of what she said she had issues with than doing a shoot for vs -

So idk I guess those huge wings are up for grabs. And you have people saying celestial is last (makes sense with the black angle boots seen in another shot I guess) which Candice is walking in who is also getting 20 foot wings. And then some people are now saying Adri is closing. Or maybe it'll just be devon like in punk last year haha

Yep those are the ones but ALOT bigger for some reason (which is weird if it's sketches). I mean based on what I've seen it is those?
Otherwise there's two segments with half red and half blue wings in them....

They've editing out most of the board (fml) but you still get bits of the mini one depending where the camera is looking.
Anyway it's super grainy and small but where a wing is big enough it pops out.

EXACTLYY and then they put a snippet of her reaction in the making of videos last year but never showed the actual footage... cruel.

The VS offices were visited by a jeweller back in February (I think)
I've been wondering if that hints towards the possibility of a FB or similiar hype piece this year? (Maybe I'm reaching)
(I can't remember which jeweller/brand it was off the top of my head but it'd be in my screenshots somewhere)
