  1. I'm not saying that she depends on this to be successful, I'm just noticing that she had more success as a high fashion model with brands in Italy, while other agencies in other countries didn't achieve this.
  2. New digitals for Platform Agency:
  3. I've been thinking... DNA and Viva are excellent agencies, but if we stop to analyze some details, they barely did anything for her as a high fashion model, unlike Women Milano who managed several IMPORTANT campaigns and shows for Doutzen in Italy. I'm not complaining, because I know that on the other hand they got the biggest contracts of her career (Victoria's Secret, Calvin Klein and L'Oréal) and of course some relevant covers (Vogue USA/Paris, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and Numéro), but she hardly does shows in NY anymore, she doesn't have any relevant main collection campaign from US brands and the most relevant brand it has campaigned in France is perhaps Balmain (?).
  4. January is her birthday, I hope DNA has prepared something great!
  5. Great news: Doutzen's name is back on the Platform Agency website. If I remember correctly DNA had never taken it, but it is still unavailable on the Viva website... I think this is a sign that she's available for new work. I hope she has plenty of opportunities, this will be a trial by fire for her after so many things said! Edit: MDC updated her profile image (looks like new digital) and removed Viva from agencies.
  6. I wonder if there actually is a comeback, will any beauty brand hire Doutzen?! As much as L'Oréal is great for her pocket, this partnership no longer yielded anything and the brand after the pandemic didn't do anything interesting anymore. I would like to see her starring in YSL, Dior, Givenchy, Hermès and especially in a Chanel makeup campaign, in fact, Chanel has an excellent history of hiring DNA girls for beauty product campaigns, even Fernanda Ly, who has never been in a show, has a campaign.
  7. Many relevant people in the fashion industry commented on her photos... That makes me hopeful!
  8. Mo Karadag posted a photo with Doutzen about her twenty-year career. Anita Bitton who is the casting director and the Versace stylist commented on the post, I think next year we will have some surprises, I hope! She must not have just gone to Paris for Mert's party, it was definitely a business trip.
  9. Mert Alas And Seventy One Gin Celebrate PFW With Secret Party.
  10. There are two days left until PFW ends, most of the relevant brands have already had their shows... I think if she's going to walk for a brand it could be Stella or Miu Miu.
  11. It's so frustrating to see several models making their comeback and her posting those phrases that no one cares about, looking like she does it just to assert herself!
  12. I'm happy to see Doutzen reunited with Joan and Candice again... I hope they can convince Doutzen to get back to work!
  13. What a mess this thread has become... I don't think Doutzen is cancelled, she just DOESN'T WANT TO WORK, which is super sad... Even with all the craziness, she is still loved by some models and people in the business, Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima, Caroline Trentini, Amber Valletta, Carolyn Murphy, Mariacarla Boscono, Alek Wek always leave comments on her photos, by the way Karolina Kurkova posted a photo with her, Garren, Fulvia Farolfi, Mario Sorrenti also always show love for her... The problem for me is her hypocrisy, but I won't go into detail, because it will lead nowhere. Unfortunately I already gave up on her, but if she decides to come back (I hope this miracle happens and soon), I'll be here!
  14. It won't happen... There are three reasons why it won't happen: First, Mo seems to have accommodated herself to this situation... Which is very strange, since she was clearly the highest earning model at the agency. Obviously there are models that are doing well (Rianne, Imaan or maybe Saskia), but none compared to Doutzen, I'm sure Sarah would handle a different and better one. Second, she last year walked to Alaïa, but made a series of demands, including visits to the atelier to make sure the clothes didn't have any chemicals that would affect her health, things like that, it looks like she's gone psychotic. Third, she just doesn't want to... She's not cancelled, the problem is her lack of will. Strangely, since the pandemic, the models (Joan, Candice, Natasha, Karlie, Lara, etc) from her time who were frequent in several shows, magazines and campaigns stopped working... Only a few names remained, SAD!
  15. From the way things are going, it looks like we won't have anything this year... Well, if that happens, I'll GIVE UP! So sad her career ended this way...
  16. I don't think it's a question of connection, obviously she still has her contacts and the DNA behind her career, I think it's a question of her wanting that, which I don't think will happen!
  17. So 2023 is here, let's see what this year awaits us... I don't have many expectations, but hope is the last to die! Her friend Jetteke didn't confirm anything, but she also didn't deny that she will do something this year regarding her 20-year career. Let's see...
  18. I'm going to start flooding (on Mo/David/DNA/Doutzen Instagram accounts) demanding that she make a comeback next year... Her TWENTY years of career can't go unnoticed!
  19. I wonder if Sarah were alive would she let Doutzen's career get to this level…
  20. So sad… Hope the whole family is well!
  21. Unfortunately, I don't think this is a new beginning, it's just an isolated case. I heard that she had a 2-hour meeting with Alaïa's team to find out about the chemical additives they use in their clothes, so that everything makes sense in her philosophy of life... Not all brands will be willing to do this for her!
  22. She unfollowed them and they did the same to her... After Alt left Vogue France, they haven't taken on any big or revealing work.
  23. Alaïa S/S 2023!
