Me too. Some people make fun of her "puffy face" but apparently it's one of the symptoms of her condition.

Gigi Hadid Opens Up About Battling Her Autoimmune Disease Keeping fit as a model isn't easy, but supermodel Gigi Hadid has just revealed she had an additional obstacle -- an autoimmune disease that causes her weight to fluctuate. As the host for a Reebok #PerfectNever panel yesterday, Hadid mentioned that he has Hashimoto's disease, which meant her "metabolism actually changed like crazy this year." "It's a thyroid disease, and it's now been two years since taking the medication for it," Hadid explained, saying she tried to combat the side effects by just getting strong. "So for the VS show I didn't want to lose any more weight, I just want to have muscles in the right place, and if my butt can get a little perkier, then that's good." Hashimoto's -- a type of hypothyroidism that slows down your metabolism and can cause weight gain, fatigue and depression -- is typically treated with synthetic hormones which, in turn, can cause weight loss as a side effect. Definitely not an easy thing to deal with when you're job puts a huge focus on your body. That said, Hadid seems to be approaching it the right way -- by making sure she just stays healthy. http://www.papermag.com/gigi-hadid-opens-up-about-battling-her-autoimmune-disease-2135925445.html
