i feel like SI needs an entire makeover. They have to start from scratch -- get some new photographers, go to different locations, try some different models (ones that bring more than just coquettish charm), ditch the photoshopping overload. imagine someone like Bruce Weber shooting a segment? it would be so damn beautiful and the women would look REAL and, thus, actually sexy and appealing. nobody is attracted to a model so airbrushed she looks like a CGI image.

wow. thank you so much, krista, for keepings us all in the loop with the new pics! i think she looks amaaaazing at the IWC event (even though i'm completely over her obsession with black sheer dresses. lol). adore the hair and makeup. and in Delposo at the Rimowa store opening! just perfection!

I was surprised at how American Bregje sounds, too! She's clearly been working hard on her English. Can't say the same for Daniela Braga. The girl is stunning - but if she wants to take her career to the next level, and be spokesperson for any kind of international brand, she's gonna have to work harder at her English. The Devon video knocked my socks off. I watched it about 5 times back-to-back. Literally mesmerized by her beauty! She just jumped up my list to being one of my most anticipated models this year. Holy hell she's gorgeous!

Ok. Well I am totally ok with giving Behati a shot at opening! I shall completely reserve judgement until it happens. I think she could be pretty exciting, actually, especially if she just keeps it strong and sexy and not goofy. But ... we shall see. (*I do still fundamentally wish it had've been Karlie or Doutzen, though*)

Hmm... so the opener is a big secret right now. If Behati is closing the show, it definitely would be over-the-top to have her open it as well. And we can very clearly see Karlie and Candice as models 2 and 3. but can we trust the person who tagged the other outfits? how do we know for sure that's accurate. I think maybe we WILL finally get a Doutzen open!

count me on board the Karlie opening bandwagon! I think she'd be excellent! she looks better than she ever has and her walk has improved, as well (and it was always a standout). She has the charisma and presence to carry an opening. 100%. that's why she's so frequently hired to open regular fashion shows. how legit is supermodelsonline? if they've confirmed Cara as choosing Chanel over VSFS -- can we take their word as definitive truth? and RE: Sara and her "skinny-shaming" instagram post. the thing with her, why she gets so many comments her way, is because she USED to be much less skinny than she is now. when she was shooting SI a couple of years ago she was downright curvy, athletic looking. now she's skin and bones. so she's getting so much grief because it's OBVIOUSLY a decision she's made to whittle herself down to that size in an attempt to get more fashion work.

i think it's pretty obvious that they 48th spot is being held for Cara. she'd be a HUUUUGE 'get' for VSFS. Ed himself said that he'd asked her to participate and that it was up to her schedule. she might not be the favourite of posters on here, but the 7 MILLION people who follow her on instagram are the exact target demographic for this show. VS literally couldn't pay for better promotion than having Cara participate, especially seeing as how the show is taking place in London.

YES! I updated the page to say this. omg, I really miss this VS era. their attitude is like, so powerfull, so sexy! Seriously -- that segment just blew my mind. Naomi's close?!? INSANE. She literally stalks the runway like a panther. Just incredibly powerful and sexy and in control. Anyway, as for this year's show, i'm SUPER excited! i am loving the outfits so far. i think it looks so much less costumey than the past couple of years. (remembers Hilary Rhoda's absurdly tragic leprechaun outfit). Karlie looks spectacular. she has really blossomed into a great Angel!

that Vanity Fair spread is sumptuous and gorgeous. It's my favourite editorial work of KK's in a while. I am completely in love. Her and Miles need to work together again. And soon! They make a fabulous team!

OK. Look at all those instagram pics! Here's my pet peeve with KK: she never does ANYTHING with her hair! When you see candids of Miranda or Gisele or Rosie, people admire their street-style and a huge part of why they always look so glamourous and polished is because their HAIR always looks amazing! KK's hair is dead boring 95% of the time. And it's such a shame, because she puts those other women to shame in the style department. she puts so much effort into her outfits and is pretty much always SLAYING. and yet the damn lazy hair! Maybe her hair has gotten thin over the past few years or something. But she looks her BEST when there's some BODY to her hair. some HEIGHT on top of her head. i suppose she doesn't want to wear extensions all the time, when she's just walking for lunch or something. but there has to be something else she can do other than that lazy tied-up pseudo-ponytail! it just takes away so much from the entire look.
