They're all beautiful but just not suitable for VS. Jo and Jas stay because they have that quality people think of when they hear VS!

Totally agree with your ideal Angel lineup. The other girls like Stella, Taylor and Romee tend to get a lot of "that's a VS model??" comments with non-model obsessed types. The girls you mentioned all have the kind of body that makes the products look really good because of their insane proportions.

France already has some of the most beautiful lingerie from many different prices and a lot more sizes to choose from. The Asian market is blowing up with brands that carry sizes that you can't find in America. Even here in America, the full figure demand is starting to take over and VS hasn't even addressed that!

Today VS is really in between Aerie and Frederick's of Hollywood. The company itself isn't doing well at all. Their sales have been declining dramatically in the past year and their stock is doing really badly. I think they're trying too hard to be fashionably relevant but they're not La Perla and it seems like people know that. I think the show should be more like Etam and they should use models with more traditional lingerie bodies and the show and company will be more successful. La Perla uses HF girls because they're at that price point and those kinds of shoppers are already used to shopping for clothes at very high end prices and advertising etc. But the kind of customer for VS is not like that. Even celebrities rarely wear VS despite all the publicity for it to be more than what it is. I blame Sophia and company.

Most of VS lingerie is very plain these days because it is a lower price. Most of "eyecatching" things you will see in their designs are rhinetones/glitter/metallic, variety of colors and strapiness. You won't see any innovative designs or unique fine laces like European brands because they would have to sell it at a higher price and Americans aren't used to that. The materials they use are also synthetic like polyester unlike other brands that use higher quality materials like silk, leather etc. These costumey outfits are their way of trying to make it look more special.

Adriana and Lais killed the lip sync video because they showed that they can be goofy and awesome to hang around while still being bombshells! That takes confidence.

Her face is very thin and chiseled which makes her look older.

Adriana and Lais shine in that lip sync video. So much charisma from Lais! Jas and Elsa looked hot. I thought the other girls were really dull especially Taylor and Romee. No charisma at all.

I never thought Joan or Lily D fit VS but it seems like they want more of that HF look. I would love to see "new" faces or models who are more VS-like. Irina was a great addition this year.

Just wondering, why do people want Lais gone? She has a different kind of personality but she also has the hottest body. Her pictures always stand out to me because her proportions make everything look really good unlike other models they use a lot.

Agree with you Luna. I think VS is adapting to the changes in society. They're all about empowerment and Adriana is the best example of that. No longer ageist. If you look at the current Angel roster, there's more body diversity than ever before. Taylor Hill doesn't even have the kind of body that would have been Angel standard during the Golden Era but here she is. Adriana's skin is amazing too. Heidi started getting wrinkles in her late 20's.

If they're going to put her in the show, she belongs in Pink and in sweatpants and doggy bags. Camille should have been in Mountain Romance instead.

Regarding the bodices, I think what makes them look off putting on so many of the bodies is that it makes them look straight up and down so it looks like clothing. Bodices look better on nipped in waists. Can't tell if the bodices are just too big for the girls or if it is a shape issue.

lol! Yes to Lais, Elsa and Jas. Everyone else is a basic model.
