I thought that was meant to be Snooker but trivialities aside, I have no idea what came over Navarro. He just lost it under the pressure and intensity of the event I guess I've never seen him act like that before. He rarely kicks out or chucks a tantrum when he plays well, football is as well i think, that's what all the guys here say maybe you are right, sometimes your nerves just snap and you will just lose control of yourself. like this one time, i was playing in a rugby match, the match was drawing to a close, and this guy from the other team was going to score a try, my team were losing and i was so desperate to stop him scoring that somehow my "football half" took over, and i slide tackled him. I didn't even know what happened until i relised i was on the ground and my knee start swelling, cos he stepped on it. all i remember of that event was that the point when i was chasing him, and the next thing is that i am on the ground. but i did stop the try though well, not really similar experience from navarro's, but i guess that's probably what happened.

football was supposed to be the Gentlemen sport, what the hell are this kind of Chav (an english saying) doing on the pitch? and if you are not good enough to play for your team, dont come out and release your frustration on others!

you don't under because you're a girl and you never will. go ask a real football fan and who plays football. takes way more than skills and looks to get respect on the pitch. i like him, he has been improving so much, and he is using his skills to earn the respect^^

I read somewhere that it is actually one of the most popular sports in American high schools I don't know... I run more easily when I'm playing in the cold because I don't overheat so much...that's what I'm basing my comments on. I hate playing in the heat :yuckky: Do you run faster when it's cold or hot? oh wait, in England it's only cold or colder wow, is it? never knew that. well, it's true that in the cold you feel more comfortable, but breathing in cold air while you run is so unpleasant. but u see, we are warm in hongkong, although, you wouldn't want to play football in the summer, becos before you actually start to play, your whole shirt is already dripping sweat. also, when it's cold, my muscle dont work as well, so i guess i run faster when it's warm. btw, are you a sprinter? what time do you do a 100m in?

I thought that maybe the Americans would copy the English and play fast and physical because the Premier League is aired a lot over there but maybe the climate is different. It seems to be hot in the US and always cold and cloudy in England yeah, but the popularity of the sport is not very high compare to NFL and other stuff, so not many people actually play football <_< *shame on them! :whistle: * but wait, wouldn't you be able to run faster when it's warmer?
