19 hours ago19 hr Author LEÏLA JOY: GOOD F•CKING MORNING. i woke up thinking of my move to Europe, feeling so goddamn excited about the fresh energy pouring in and all of the possibilities… being back in sunshine, moving around, exploring new places, new people, tasting new things, excited about getting to SHOOT again. so much of my twenties, actually, was spent flitting around the globe with a camera in my hand absolutely bursting with inspiration, letting life flirt with me & saying yes please to whatever made me feel lit up. i guess same same but different to the past two years? i’ve certainly still followed inspiration, but i’ve barely shot, and the delicious thing about taking space from an old lover like that is that i’ve had the space to do me for a bit and to grow, and also to miss her and truly WANT her again. words fail me when i think of how much i’ve cherished my time in canada and all the myriad ways it has grown and changed me, and i’m still very much in the thick of winter, but i don’t know what it is… ever since i booked my flights outta here in two months, i can feel this blaze of heat and potential growing, and it’s like i’m already halfway gone from this continent & somewhere on the balearic or mediterranean coastline, barefooted & bare-chested, clambering over rocks with salty hair hanging down to my waist, laughing in golden hour light with a gorgeous nereid muse, creating magic. i cannot. f•cking. wait. so, this is the vibe rn and idk how but i was looking for an entirely different shoot to dip back into and found these RAWs instead… and they wanted to be shared. this shoot on the west coast of australia was absolutely wild, probably in the most savage winds i’ve ever shot in. we were sand-blasted and Imo was just such a hellcat on her KTM, i was losing my mind. it’s no secret i’m a sucker for this sh•t. anyway, these images make me feel purpose & direction & a potency of freedom with a sprinkle of feral, and all i can say is yes please, let’s f•cking gooooooo imogencaldwell 🔥🔥🔥 OG muse (featured is a set from the first ever fae collection )
