Career A native of Maringá, Paraná, Cris Carniato moved to São Paulo at the age of 18, after winning a Miss contest in his hometown. In são Paulo, she was invited to join a musical group and even signed a contract with BMG. As amodel, she starred in advertising campaigns in Brazil and abroad. Actress and singer by training, she was in the shows "Entre Paredes Escuras" and "O Especialista", both produced by Carniato & Carniato artistic productions and winners of the "Aniceto Matti" Award, in 2013 and 2015 respectively; "The Telescope" (directed by Guilherme Santana), "The Automobile of Hell" (directed by Andréa Egidio), "The Bear" (directed by Nill De Padua), "A Tram Called Desire" (directed by Sergio Milagre), Musical Theater "Glee" (directed by Luciano Andrey). On television,he was part of Dennys Carvalho's production "Insensato Coração"[2](2011). In the soap opera Globo,played Viviane, romantic pair of Lázaro Ramos. Since then, he has gone through the series "Os Experientes"[3] (episode "O Assalto", 2015), by Fernando Meirelles, for the Festival 50 years of Globo; was in the miniseries "Maysa, Quando Fala o Coração", by Jayme Monjardim (2009); in the novel "Amor e Intrigas"[4][5][6], by Edson Spinello, Record TV (2008); besides being the host of Channel 1, Sky (2009 to 2011). He was also part of the cast of the short films "Lar doce Lar", directed by Tassia Quirino (2014); and "Noir", by Diego Ruiz and Helton Ladeira (2007), the latter being the finalist in the category of best film, in the 15th Gramado Cine Vídeo, and winner of the award for best direction, the 7th Festival of Short Films of Goiânia. Currently, Cris is in " TheAdventures of Poliana"[7][8][9] [10], of SBT, in the role of Fernanda Rios, a workaholicmother , who abandons her daughters to work in Europe, and then returns to tumultuous the life of her ex-husband and children, promising many plot twists.
