Who has had or built a pool, do you have kids, what kind did you have and how did/do you like it?

Unless you've owned a pool please don't respond with a pool is a waste of money, you should instead invest, play it super safe financially and watch your portfolio grow.

We built a pool in our backyard a few years ago, and it's been a game-changer, especially with kids. We have two little ones, and having the pool has been a blessing, especially during the hot summer months.

We went for an inground pool with a simple rectangular design. It's not too big, but it's perfect for our family. We opted for a saltwater system, which has been fantastic; it's much gentler on the skin and eyes compared to traditional chlorine pools.

The kids absolutely love it! It's been a great way for them to stay active and entertained, especially during school breaks. Plus, it's been a fantastic gathering spot for family and friends during summer parties and BBQs.

Overall, we're thrilled with our decision to build a pool. It's added so much joy and fun to our lives, and it's definitely been worth the investment. If you're considering it, I'd highly recommend it, especially if you have kids!
