Posted May 4, 20205 yr Sangji Koh, aka Koh Sang-ji (고상지) is a Korean musician. She was an engineering student with an obsessive interest in animation who dropped out of her prestigious university due to her passion for music. A few years later, she became the most famous bandoneon player in Korea. She has played a significant role in making tango and the bandoneon approachable to a wider audience in Korea. Koh Sang-ji studied under the bandoneon player Komatsu Ryota from 2006 to 2009 and then in Argentina from 2009. Her first album, "MAYCGRE 1.0," released September 2014, received critical acclaim and also displays the distinct beauty of the genre that changed the life of Koh Sang-ji.
