January 22, 200818 yr Hrithik, ShahRukh, Rani and Preity together in one film?There are rumors circulating that Aditya Chopra is going to go back behind the camera as director and that he has in mind an amazing cast for his next film. The reports are that he wants to cast Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerjii as one couple for the film. Which is a great start in itself but he also needs another couple for the film and his first choice is Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta, though a few other actresses are on the short list for the role opposite Hrithik.A source said that the film will be of course the grand romance that one expects of a film from Yash Raj but that it will also have comedy and action thrown in as well. Chopra is currently working on the script and the film is going to be shot in several locations including Dubai, Australia and Greece. The film is supposedly going to the floor in June or July of this year.There has been no confirmation from Aditya Chopra or any of the actors that this project is even in the works. Let’s wait and watch and hope that this dream cast will come together to make us sigh while watching a wonderfully romantic film.
January 22, 200818 yr Om Shanti Om makes the Berlin Film FestivalBollywood biggest grosser Om Shanti Om was one of eleven to be selected for viewing at the Berlin Film Festival 2008.This will be the 58th Berlin Film Festival and it aims to show the work of contemporary filmmakers, which have been chosen for the honour. It will run from February 7th – 17th.The German premiere of Om Shanti Om will be held on the 8th February at Kino Internazionale.Shahrukh Khan will be attending the festival as well as giving a lecture at the Berlinale Talent Campus.Shortly after the festival Eros International will be releasing Om Shanti Om in Germany theatrically.
January 23, 200818 yr SRK to do another item songHistory is being created in Bollywood right now. Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting the mother of all item songs for Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy 4 even as Hrithik is getting ready to shoot the same song in mid-February.Says Hrithik, “Shah Rukh, whose association with my dad goes back to King Uncle and Koila , is the portrait of graciousness. He’s shooting for my dad’s film in Mumbai. When my knee is recovered, I’ll be performing the same song.”Shah Rukh’s version will be part of the film whereas Hrithik’s will be used only for promotional purposes. “While I’m doing this for my home production, Shah Rukh is going out of his way for us. It just shows how much solidarity actually exists in the industry,” adds Hrithik.Shah Rukh and Hrithik dancing to the same tune would give rise to comparisons between the two superstars. Hrithik thinks such comparisons can be avoided. “We’ll bring our own body language and style into it. Besides, Shah Rukh doesn’t need to dance, I do,” says the actor in handsome tribute to the Bollywood Badshah.This, incidentally, is Hrithik’s first item song and Shah Rukh’s second; he had earlier performed for buddy Karan Johar’s Kaal. According to Hrithik, the song composed by his uncle Rajesh Roshan and sung by Vishal (of Vishal-Shekhar) is an amazing dance track. It is choreographed by Ahmed Khan. “I’m sure Shah Rukh and I are going to have fun performing this number,” says Hrithik.
