July 5, 201113 yr Elsa Hosk for Nelly Source: Nelly One of Scandinavia’s most famous models, Elsa Hosk visited Nelly.com’s studio this week and you FB-fans got the chance to ask her anything you wanted. Throughout this album we present a selection of the questions and Elsa’s answers to them. *Fan question #1: What would Elsa be doing if she wasn't not a model? *Elsa’s answer: I would be going to Parsons, learning how to sketch and sew, or maybe be in acting school…or maybe play professional basketball! *Fan question #2: What's your #1 best thing and #1worst thing about your work? *Elsa’s answer: Best thing- meeting interesting people and getting to see exciting places all over the world. I get very inspired from that. Creating beautiful images and being in front of the camera. Lately I’ve discovered that I feel the most comfortable in front of the camera, which I find strange because I don’t normally like attention! Worst thing- every job you start over with a new team. Just when you get to know each other it’s time to leave and you may never see them again. But if it’s a team you don’t like I guess it can be a really good thing too! And you are forced to grow up very fast in this business. *Fan question #3: What's your tip #1 for spring-summer'11 trends? (colours, shoes, clothes, make up, and accessories). *Elsa’s answer: My style is always personal and I don’t follow trends. I’ve always been into the 70’s and 90’s punk grunge and get inspired from old movies and books. Makeup-wise I like a bit of heavy mascara. I think the best thing is to find what looks great on you, or if I see something in a magazine I might try it on myself and if it suits me but not just put something on because it’s trendy. I am loving colours for spring though! I just got a pair of bright red Doc. Martens boots that I might wear with little floral dresses. I saw some really cute ones at the shoot for Nelly.com! *Fan question #4: Which photo shoot was the most exciting and challenging? And why? And what was the topic of the photo shoot? And where was the location ? *Elsa’s answer: I had an editorial shoot in South Africa where I was holding little leopard babies. They were the cutes things I had ever seen, the challenging part was to make them look into the camera and not rip the thousand dollar dresses I was wearing!
