April 25, 20241 yr A few years ago I was 27 years old and my Saturn was returning. My inner monologue was LOUD with existential questions about my future. I kept asking myself: what am I doing with my life and what is my purpose on Earth? I had been modeling for almost a decade. I loved the fashion industry and all the incredible humans I had been fortunate enough to meet through my time as a model. I was incredibly grateful for the adventures modeling had afforded me, but I realized I wanted to contribute to the world in a different way. I was scared- how could I start a new career as I approached thirty? Would I remember how to perform in school, how to write a paper, how to study for an exam? But I decided to take the leap and began my graduate program in clinical psychology. Now, three years later, I have graduated with my Masters of Clinical Psychology and am pursuing a career in psychology. I have been challenged in ways I could never have imagined which had led to immense personal growth. I share my story in hopes of reminding you that you can do hard things! I think we forget to listen to our guts and tune into our intuition. But if we can try to listen- that little voice will guide us down the right path. It may not be easy, but there will be growth. If you’re still reading- comment or message me if you’re thinking about a career change! We got this!! Spoiler [2024.04.25] elizabethcturner_168508945_311576375139388_5606029906957965621_n.mp4
