^Yah, I've been in shock all day.

I was watching that game when it happened and it amazed me how he was able to walk away from the pitch, I thought he was going to be ok.

All my thoughts and prayers go to his family and to Sevilla.

I've heard his girlfriend or wife is expecting their first child next month, do any of you know if this is true?

It was a shock for me too. Yes he had a wife and she will give a birth in 2 months.

In Loving Memory of Antonio Puerta...

Raúl: "We're all so sorry. The entire team is thinking about the family"

The captain of Real Madrid wanted to express the thoughts of the players and coaching staff of the First Team, several of whom coincided with Antonio Puerta either on Sevilla FC or the various divisions of the Spanish national team.

Real Madrid captain Raúl González Blanco expressed his sorrow for the passing of Sevilla international Antonio Puerta: "It's a shame, a huge loss for Spanish football, a player that had an extraordinary future in store who had already made his national team debut, a real shame. It's the news we never wanted to hear, but that finally reached us. The entire squad and the coaching staff had been closely monitoring the situation since the incident first took place, and the tragic outcome has deeply affected us. A friend and a great professional of the football world has left us, and from here at Real Madrid, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his teammates, his club, and everyone in Sevilla who loves and admires him."

Ramón Calderón will lead the Real Madrid delegation attending Puerta's funeral.

The President of Real Madrid Ramón Calderón will lead the delegation of Real Madrid representatives who attend the funeral of Sevilla player Antonio Puerta, which will be held at 2 pm CET on Wednesday at the San Fernando Cemetery

Calderón will be accompanied by Sporting Director Pedja Mijatovic, the captains of the First Team Raúl and Guti, and former Puerta teammates on Sevilla, Sergio Ramos, Baptista, and Saviola.

Real Madrid would again like to express its sincere heartache and condolences to the family of the player, the Sevilla Directors and Members, and to the entire Sevilla family.

I'm so sorry because of Antonio and his family
