Fed-up Ronaldo wants out of Real Madrid

Ronaldo is ready to quit Real Madrid after being frustrated in his dealings with management.

The Brazilian is upset after it emerged Real were touting him to Italian clubs only weeks after being assured by sports director Pedja Mijatovic that he would not be sold.

Ronaldo has two offers on the table, says Marca, one from Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad and the other from a European club, which isn't Italian.

I think he's going to leave, because if he doesn't i doubt that he'll play under Capello much. (N)

Saudis eye Ronaldo swoop

Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad have reportedly submitted a bid to Real Madrid for Ronaldo.

Al-Ittihad signed Luis Figo last week and are believed to be keen on recruiting another high-profile name before the end of the month.

"We are waiting at the moment for a reply from the Spanish club," an Al-Ittihad official was quoted as saying on Gulf Daily News.

Al-Ittihad president Mansour Al-Balawi has refused to identify his club's next transfer target, but has hinted it will be a sensational swoop.

"I'm afraid I'll shock everyone if I reveal his name now," he said.

Ronaldo is no longer in Fabio Capello's plans and Real Madrid are considering whether to offload the striker during the January transfer window, club president Ramon Calderon has confirmed.

However, Calderon insists nobody has yet made a bid for the Brazilian.

"It seems that Ronaldo is no longer in the coach's plans and that is the way it is," Calderon explained.

"At the moment we have received no offers.

"It will depend on whether we have to make a decision whether to allow him to go, but also if there is a team that wants him and if he wants to leave, because all those things must be considered.

"There is the possibility of something happening before January 31 and if that happens then we shall see.

"Capello believes that this is the way to go and we have complete faith in him and we must look to the future with our plan that worked before at other clubs.

"The coach will want to choose those players that he considers to be the best for his plans and not everyone can be included."

Luccin urges Atletico Madrid to go for Ronaldo

Atletico Madrid midfielder Peter Luccin says the board should seriously rescuing Ronaldo from his bad situation at city rivals Real.

The Frenchman declared: "If they want to get rid of him, Atletico should take him.

"But with Sergio Aguero and Fernando Torres, he would still have a battle to earn his place in the team."

Toon In For Ronaldo?

Newcastle have been linked with a shock double move for Ronaldo and Antonio Cassano.

The Real Madrid duo have both fallen out with Italian boss Fabio Capello, who has made it clear he's keen to offload the strikers during the transfer window and the Magpies could be ready to swoop.

Ronaldo is reportedly available for Ј5million this month and it now appears the Brazilian star could have played his last game for the club.

However if Glenn Roeder is able to convince Ronaldo to move to St James Park then they will have to pay out wages of at least Ј90,000 a week while Casano won't come cheap either.

The Spanish club's president Ramуn Calderуn has said: "It seems that Ronaldo is no longer in the coach's plans and that is the way it is.

"There is the possibility of something happening before January 31 and if that happens then we shall see.

In regards to Cassano, Capello confirmed he's no longer in his thinking and is soon to be through the exit door of the Bernabeu .

Capello said on Saturday: "Cassano does not enter into my plans."

Juventus make Ronaldo bid

MADRID (AFP) - Italian second division side Juventus have made an offer to recruit Real Madrid's out-of-favour Brazilian striker Ronaldo.

Juventus want to sign Ronaldo for next season in the expectation of rejoining the top flight having being relegated after the summer's match-fixing scandal, radio station Cadena Ser reported on its internet site Saturday.

The report added that the world-wide sports company which sponsors Ronaldo and Juventus would be willing to pay a portion of the transfer fee.

Ronaldo, who is not in the future plans of Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello, has already played in Italy -- for Inter Milan between 1997 and 2002.

Wealthy Saudi Arabia side Al Ittihad also want to sign Ronaldo and made a 20-million-euro bid for the 2002 World Cup winner, the Spanish press reported on Wednesday.

Real president Ramon Calderon said: "For the moment there is nothing concrete on the possible departure of Ronaldo to another club. Negotiations are taking place but there is still time from now till January 31 (last day of the winter transfer window).

Rossoneri Back In For Ronaldo

AC Milan have refused to rule out the possibility of signing Real Madrid's Ronaldo in January.

The Rossoneri came close to landing the Brazilian superstar last summer, but they couldn't agree a fee with the Spanish giants.

And now they could move again with the striker's Bernabeu future now apparently bleak.

The Galacticos era in Madrid appears to be coming to an end with Luis Figo already gone, David Beckham on his way and Ronaldo apparently persona non grata.

Ronaldo has been linked with Saudi side Al Ittihad, but a return to the San Siro - where he starred for Inter between 1997 and 2002, appears more likely.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani told Italia Uno: "Under certain conditions we could sign Ronaldo.

"However, there are no negotiations with Real Madrid at present. If Madrid were to offer him at certain conditions, then negotiations could start."
